We rented the little fishing cabin. Was such a quiet and peaceful little staycation. Everything we needed was on hand and the view was amazing. Very clean and comfortable

We stayed for almost a full week in the Lakehouse Cabin, in August. Not a cabin by definition, but by experience. 3 bedrooms, a full kitchen, 2 bathrooms and laundry.... We were hooked. The road in leaves a bit to be desired, don't bring a low rider. The screened in deck was perfect for sunrise coffee. The screened in picnic area is where we spent most of our time amd the sunsets were incredible. There was very little traffic, and zero noise from anywhere. We used the fire pit, kayaks and my family fished off the dock. 80 acres is way modest, some quick research reveal the lake to be closer to 140 acres, although not all of it is accessible. Which was fine enough! It was incredibly quiet and peaceful. We met the resident Big white dog, who was super friendly and just wanted to hang out. Being about 20 minutes from Metropolis and Paducah, we had plenty of resources and things to do! Wifi was a bonus, but we didn't really use it. The ability to contact the owners or cabin crews for any question was on point. They made the stay extremely comfortable and welcoming. 10 out of 10, we will stay again. Next time, we're going to try for the Gray house! Thank you so much for making our family vacation incredible!

We really enjoyed our 2 nights here. We went out on the kayaks for the sunset both evenings, enjoyed the hot tub, and sat on the pier and watched a pretty spectacular lightening show off in the distance and saw a shooting star.

We also met the local dog who's big but super friendly and well behaved and found quite a few feral cats roaming around that didn't bother us.

We would definitely stay here again if we're in the area and would absolutely recommend it to anyone.

We stayed in Cabin C along with my sister and brother in law from Sept. 24 thru 27 and are always amazed be the beauty and serenity of the lake. This was our fourth trip to the lake, and we will be back because of the wonderful hosts. Everything always seems perfect for us. The cabin was very clean, as was the gazebo and deck. The hot tub was great after kayaking in the mornings. Such a relaxing three day stay and we're sure that we will go back again.

Wonderfully quiet and relaxing. Had an amazing time watching the sunrises. The bathroom was the only detraction. The bathtub and faucet are new but, not professionally installed. Everything else was top notch. Big deck overlooking the lake with a hot tub. The kitchen was equipped nicely. We will be back.

The cabin was clean and comfortable. The senory was gorgeous. The neighborhood is super quiet. Wifi has been added, which was super convenient since our cell service was spotty. Would definitely recommend for someone looking to relax and unwind.

We were searching for a cozy place to spend a couple of days when we accidentally found this place. It's on a real nice quiet lake. Cute little cabin with a hot tub. Just what we needed! Met the resident dog, he stayed with us a few minutes, then went on his way. Had a great time!

The cabin by the lake was a wonderful getaway. Very quiet and relaxing, like having an entire lake to yourselves. We went kayaking every day of our trip. Would recommend to anyone needing to rest, unwind, and unplug.
