We stayed at The Loft over the Christmas 2023 holiday. Our expectations were easily exceeded. Everything, including the ease of check-in process, cabin size, cleanliness, kitchen and bath supplies, the friendliness of the management couldn't be better. We will definitely stay there when we visit the area again. Highly recommend - 5+ stars!

The Barn is such a beautiful place! We are repeat customers. A beautiful location with several places to sit outside and enjoy the beauty! We enjoy the bonfire area very much. Inside the decorating is very inviting and comfortable. Makes you feel at home immediately. Bedrooms are very comfortable and both kitchen and bathrooms are well supplied. The owners are very easy to work with. We hike in the morning and enjoy the wine trail in the afternoon. Lots of options for both. Such a beautiful area to enjoy!

Had a wonderful experience. Attended a weekend yoga retreat. Alexis and Josh are gracious and attentive hosts. Nice combination of rustic and luxury. Top shelf, well presented cuisine. Yoga instruction appropriate for the beginner and accomplished. Highly recommended

Our family of 11 with kids, spouses and 2 grand kids stayed here at the Barn and we were so very pleased. The accommodations were the best I've ever experienced at an Airbnb--comfy beds, toys and books and movies for kids and adults, fantastic kitchen with more than adequate supplies, a big table that fit us all, great outdoor furniture including a hammock by a lovely stream, and many extra touches. Having spices to cook with in the kitchen is so very helpful! No one likes to buy all those things just to cook a few meals. Plus a staff that was helpful and accommodating. All this in a beautiful setting tucked next to Shawnee National Forest with many places to hike and explore. We all definitely recommend this place!

We stayed at "The Barn" this weekend for a girls getaway. There were nine of us (6 adults and 3 children). There was more than enough space for all of us to be comfortable. The kitchen was very spacious and well equipped. We did a lot of cooking/baking so we were very thankful for all the counter space. The laundry room was equipped with a full size washer and dryer as well as laundry detergent in case you forgot your own. The hand soap in the kitchen as well as the bathrooms with a big hit with all of us as well. A lot of places skimp on these types of things but not here. They were wonderful and smelled great. The cabin was very clean. It may have been the cleanest one we've ever stayed in. They also supplied a large variety of DVD's, books (for all ages), board games and a few toys for younger children (Lego's, Lincoln Logs, a kitchenette set and a plastic grocery cart). The spiral staircase has a metal gate at the top and bottom making it safe for young kids to walk around on either floor. The beds were all fairly comfortable and some of the rooms had tower fans available to use. The downstairs bathroom was attached to the bedroom but was also accessible through the main area and had a bathtub/shower, sink and toilet. One of the bedrooms upstairs had a toilet, sink and shower as well. The other toilet/shower were in a separate bathroom next to two of the upstairs bedrooms. We only had two issues, neither of which were big deals. The upstairs shower that was in one of the bedrooms didn't have very good water pressure. It didn't prevent you from being able to shower in it though. Also, we think the thermostat was preset to lower the temp each night making it freezing cold downstairs in the morning. We weren't sure how to set it to a different preset temp or if we were even allowed to so they used their electric blankets at night. I'm sure Lisa (the contact for the cabin) could've assisted me had I reached out to her. Overall, we all give this cabin 5 stars. We had a great time here.
