This is a fantastic place to ride. Sue has a variety of horses and ponies that she takes excellent care of and the grounds and stables are beautiful and well kept. Most importantly, Sue is an excellent teacher and has built a very positive culture where kids and adults thrive and not only learn how to ride, but learn more about themselves and how to be the best they can be.

We booked a trailride for myself (experienced) and my husband (first time), and were unfortunately 30 minutes late to the start time due to some confusion and 40+ minutes of traffic! Sue was extremely accommodating, and had our horses caught and brushed for our arrival. She put us on horses based on our experience, and was an amazing teacher for the first time riders. You can certainly tell how much she loves her horses and sharing her knowledge. The trails were beautifully kept, and the riders were allowed a few spots to trot! I would highly recommend Sue and High Meadows for all your equestrian needs!

Great experience, fun ride with the horses, young children guided me and others during the horse riding experience. Dr. pepper was well-behaved, pleasant, and a decent horse. I enjoy this very much. Cassie was one of young children that guided me on riding Dr. Pepper. She did a good job on the experience. McKenzie did a well job on showing me and my family on how to clean a horse and how to put on saddles. I recommend this.

We have sent our children to High Meadows Farms--both lessons and summer camp--for over a decade. Sue has a special touch with kids and horses. Each child felt intimidated at first, but Sue and her team help them feel comfortable and have fun. The location is also absolutely beautiful and the barn/stables are kept in amazing condition. And of course the horses are beautiful, gentle creatures that can handle child riders. Can't wait to come back this summer!

This was our first time and we had a wonderful experience! The staff was very attentive, patient, kind, playful and creative. My daughters cannot stop talking about Dr. Pepper, Pixie Stix, and Marshmallow (the horses we rode). Thank you to Sue and her staff for a memorable day!

We had an amazing time here! Sue was an amazing trainer and guide on our trail ride. I have been horse riding once before but did not learn nearly as much as Sue taught us to ensure we were comfortable with the horses and the horses were comfortable with us prior to going on the ride. Such an amazing experience with amazing views. This is a must do if you are in the area.

Sue has such a unique way with teaching children! My daughter has learned so much about horses and riding in a short time! She keeps things fun and always has wonderful help at her stables! The horses are gentle and extremely well cared for! My daughter LOVES her riding lessons! This is definitely the place to go if you want to ride!!

Sue was amazing, as were her young helpers! We brought our twin 5 y/o for a lesson, and it was a wonderful experience! They learned how to care for and prepare the horses to ride, and then spent time in the arena riding their horses, doing exercises to learn the basics while having lots of fun. The kids loved it, and it was a memorable experience for the parents.
