Hatcher Pass Castle exceeded our expectations. Out of our 2 week visit to Alaska, Hatcher Pass Castle was our favorite! We wish we had stayed more nights here! It was very peaceful and so beautiful! The room was clean and comfortable and had a noise machine with bird noises on for relaxing. This was a nice touch. We loved the soda, water, and thank you gift bag with goodies! This was very thoughtful.
We highly recommend taking one of their UTV tours - it was tons of fun! Our guide was amazing. Very knowledgeable about the area and so friendly. He made sure we had fun while being safe! We really enjoyed the tour and conversations with Kevin.

Our stay at Hatcher Pass Castle was very peaceful and beautiful! Our room was extremely clean and comfortable, and we felt as if we had endless hot water, which we truly appreciated! We especially loved the water, soda, and personal care items, which were a very welcome surprise for us! We highly recommend Hatcher Pass Castle, and we also recommend taking one of their ATV/UTV tours - it was tons of fun!

I absolutely loved my stay. I only wish I could have stayed longer! I ended at the Castle by providence. I was struggling to find a place to stay for the first night of a busy holiday weekend. I didn't want to drive 2 hours after getting off of a 6 hour flight, but it seemed like the best of my limited options. I was blown away. The stay was incredible--I wished that I had booked it for the whole weekend! It was high enough in elevation that there were no bugs and no bears. The drive through Hatcher's Pass was amazing. I enjoyed sitting and looking at the horizon from the balcony outside my room as long as I could. Luckily, I forgot something in my room, so a couple days later the hostess notified me, and I got the true pleasure of the drive again and while I was there I went on a great ATV tour as well. I would 100% recommend to a friend, and I would love to return, maybe during winter this time! I hear it's beautiful in the winter too. My stay was beautiful, comfortable, serene, friendly, and memorable. The host and hostess are good and caring people.

A newly renovated hotel in a castle-style building in the Hatch Pass of Willow. We stayed here for a total of three days and surprisingly, staying in the castle hotel was much more comfortable than expected, especially the surrounding attractions are beautiful. The hostess Ting was very kind, the room was very clean, and Ting was responsive to our needs. So nice, and there are cute dogs. We will be back!

Place was awesome! Off the beaten path really gave it the Alaskan feel! Off the grid added to the charm, but internet worked flawlessly. The sound of nearby river was really relaxing. Room was super cozy and check in was a breeze. Definitely would recommend to others.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Hatcher Pass Castle—we didn't want to leave! The rooms are beautifully decorated, comfortable, and peaceful; you can even hear the soothing sound of the river across the road. The surrounding scenery is unparalleled, offering a true wilderness experience. The owners were incredibly friendly and responsive, ensuring we enjoyed every moment of our stay. Their passion for what they do is evident.

We also took part in their UTV tour, which was the perfect way to delve deeper into nature and fully appreciate the beauty of Hatcher Pass. After spending two weeks in Alaska, we can confidently say that Hatcher Pass is among our top best experiences. We highly recommend both the Castle and the UTV tour!

If you need a break from the hustle of Wasilla/Anchorage this is a pretty great spot. VERY QUIET! Grab a chair on the balcony and enjoy the mountain views and listen to the river!
A unique lodge where the rooms are warm and cozy, life off the grid looks darn good here.
If we stay again, we will have to give the ATV tour a try. - Thank you!

We had SO MUCH FUN on this tour!! Our guide Mike was awesome and he took us off-road riding through creeks, mud and rocks. Not to mention being in the most beautiful location imaginable!! I 100% recommend this tour to anyone visiting Alaska!! Oh, and stay in the Castle too, we loved our stay there!
