So enjoy this sweet humble place. No frills and that’s what is amazing about it. The views are amazing. Love meeting other people staying there. Last night the Blue Grass music was such a treat! We will always be back - it’s just super sweet and special. Slows you down.

We stay here almost every year as a nice little relaxing spot away from home. Every time we visit there is something amazing we discover. The restaurant is really good and the service is great there too. The gift shop is small and cute. The front desk staff are always welcoming and helpful. The housekeeping staff is always sweet and accommodating. Just today she knocked on my door to tell me that one of my tires had a belt blown which is very dangerous. So I drove into Culpeper to have it changed.
The kids love playing next to the stream and visiting the farm animals. They also play with the cool toys they sell in the gift shop. The views bring us back. The first time we went there was a small blizzard so we could relax and enjoy the day. This trip we brought our two puppies because they are pet-friendly. We will be back next year for sure!

Beautiful place, room is very cozy, people are very nice, views are amazing. I just wish we had more time to enjoy this place, lots to 👀 and do, but we will definitely return. The rates were surprisingly reasonable, couldn't have asked for any nicer folks or better accommodations. Refreshing couple of days, definitely a do over for us.

We live a 100 miles from Graves Mtn Lodge. Have been enjoying Graves for over 45 years. It is a beautiful, scenic, quaint place! Excellent homemade food and comfortable homey lodging. Great hiking trails, wildlife, fly fishing, horseback trail riding and more! Great for families, friends and couples! It’s a beautiful hospitable place!!

We just took a long weekend trip here with my family. The kids (ages 5, 2, and 5 months) had a blast. They loved playing with the goats and collecting eggs. We did both breakfasts and dinners at the lodge restaurant and it was overall great food and good service and the kids ate free for every meal.

We especially liked that the farm was close to lots of hiking trails and we were able to do a nice family hike even with small kids. Overall it was a great weekend trip.

The room was spacious and pleasant, but the bathrooms and toilets were old and needed maintenance. Water pressure was weak, but there was always hot water. Cleanliness was lacking, and we encountered large insects, including one that fell on my leg.||||The farm was beautiful and well-kept, but activities were poorly organized—they didn’t start on time, and staff needed reminders to run them.||||Distances between areas were significant, requiring about a 10-minute walk, some of it uphill. There was a nearby river for wading, open spaces, and ball games. The staff was kind, and overall, we tried to enjoy the experience.

The perfect place to hang your hat while meeting up with family and friends. You are within 20 - 90 minutes of historical landmarks and national parks. The Kite house makes for a great base camp if meeting other families and friends staying on the property. It gives you privacy, room to spread out on decks and porches and a large fire-pit overlooking the brook. Bring your flashlight and bug repellent and that’s about all you will need!

I stayed at the lodge for much needed R&R. It's early Spring and was the perfect time as the trees were beginning to bloom. Hearing birds in the daytime and frogs at night was a sweet sound. In the evening sitting on the front porch of the main lodge and listening to the Bluegrass players made my days complete.
