The most amazing weekend getaway stay! From gorgeous views to an amazingly cozy space, the farm is now at the top of our list to come back to! Close to Shenandoah as well as a few cute local hikes. Fresh eggs, wild animals, and incredible views (even in the winter!) are in your future. Not to mention Zachary is the best host around!

The Rooted Land Company is a gorgeous property with well maintained tiny homes and a beautiful cabin to rent. Such a great spot to get away and just relax or dip a toe into the country life. I can’t wait to go back again and enjoy the decompression time with the chickens as I take a break from a crazy work schedule.

Our family of four with two small children stayed at Rooted Land Co. last spring and had the most wonderful time. From the neatly appointed home with everything a family could need, to the numerous walking and hiking trails around the property, to the chicken ladies (who are the real stars), Zachary has cultivated a warm home away from home. Zachary’s passion and respect for nature was evident through our visit - which even included a hawk rescue! We had such a memorable time that we are planning to go back this summer. In a word...idyllic. What Zachary has created at this mountain and farm retreat is nothing short of incredible. From the fishing in the river to the hike in the mountains to chasing around his 'girls' (i.e., chickens lol), there was no end of things to see and do. The setting is beautiful and our 'tiny' home was cozy and fun (as well as spotless and well appointed). My wife literally wants to move into it! We really can't say enough about Rooted Land Farm. We've stayed in AirBnB's all over the world but here...we were at peace and able to relax and soak in the charm. Zachary is awesome: funny, humble, thoughtful (thank you and the girls for the farm fresh eggs!!!), and the consummate host. We are already making plans to come back with the kids in the fall...I can't imagine how beautiful it will be then! Thank you, Zachary for a wonderful and memorable weekend!

AMAZING experience. Zachary's place is a home away from home. His attention to detail and care for guests are something to talk about. We had time to rest, watch sunrises and sunsets. Every minute of our stay was enjoyed.
