One of the best places in the entire world. Just a reminder that the hike to get here and back is NOT easy. Coming down here is like a 70 story skyscraper.

However, once you get down there, you did it. You have the option to hike all the way down to the bottom of the canyon, but it’s not recommended to do in one day. If you’re looking for a challenging yet moderate hike, this is the best place to stop. Plus, the views are amazing! Overall, would definitely recommend if you’re healthy.

Little tough if you have breathing problems at higher altitudes, particularly at the switchbacks. But the view is amazing at the end and it's not super long. Some people say this is easy but it was a little muddy and icy in late March so I'd say moderate. Watch out for the donkey poop on the trail 🫣

Ooh Aah Point is a short, rewarding hike with stunning views. It took us about 30 minutes to reach it via the South Kaibab Trail, and the panoramic scenery makes it a perfect spot for photos. While it can get a bit crowded—especially at the viewpoint—it’s well worth the brief wait to get your shot. The trail starts off fairly steep, and when we went in early April, the beginning was muddy and snowy, so come prepared with proper footwear if you’re visiting during the colder months.

This part of the trial and scenic spot is in the name, Ooh Aah….was so amused by it when approaching or getting to it, took way to many pictures of the sign and views itself and selfies haha. The name is very unique and perfectly put. It’s about a mile getting to this point from kabob trailhead. About 20 feet below here offers amazing views with rocks to sit on and view the canyon as well. If you want to do a small hike but not massive this is highly recommended!

Must-Do! It feels like a real cheat code that you can reach such an amazing viewpoint with such a short hike.
The other reviews are correct in the fact that no photo will do this scenery full justice. You have to see it for yourself! Classic switchback route but comfortably easy.

Went on March 16. there had been snow the week before so the initial descent was quite the slushie. Once past that, it was nothing but beauty. Take lots of water and nutrition. Tge hard work is climbing up 700ft of elevation after your oohs and aahs.

Shortest beautiful trail. I would call it easy trail as you have to go down to the point but while coming back you have to climb up the elevation.

The first official stop about a mile down from the S Kaibab trailhead. The views only get better with each step you take, and at this point in your hike, you're sure to have already taken a million photos. The fatigue hasn't kicked in yet, and you know you could probably hike more because it's obviously worth the views. But remember, you must hike back up, and it's always more fun heading down. Try to start your hike as early as possible to experience less people, less heat and more peace.
