Pleasant experience when obtaining the day pass. Officers were very kind, professional and in no way condescending.

The rules have changed for base access from 10 years ago. Have a sponsor meet you on base if you want to get a pass, as a non-DoD contractor, otherwise you'll have stood in line fruitlessly. The visitors center processes about 1 sponsor and visitor every 15 minutes, so if you are 5th in line, be prepared to stand for an hour. Friendly staff once I got up to the counter, but the rules are firm, yet not posted anywhere in person.

For everyone's information, this visitor center has been relocated to badger gate. They need to update the location, but as they have not - hopefully folks read this comment. It's going to take longer than you think to get there.

Consistently rude customer service to each visitor that came in. Very very slow service as well, averaging 10-15 min per guest even for tasks a simple as getting a day pass.

Listening to the officers argue is honestly the funniest thing to hear while you're getting a base pass. I've had a lot of experience dealing with military stuff, and hearing them act it out in an almost-Three Stooges way is worth the show and a bag of popcorn. They get the passes done quick and keep the traffic flowing smoothly. Good work!
