We could not have been more pleased with our stay. Our family was greeted by two helpful staff on arrival. We were upgraded to a suite that was in excellent condition without asking, and there was even a welcome note with a coupon for a free marketplace item waiting in our room. Everything within the hotel was in excellent condition, and we very much enjoyed relaxing in the pool area surrounded by snow-covered trees. The breakfast in the morning would make anyone happy, and the coffee was so good that it didn't even need creamer. The location was also ideal being situated right off the highway and near Granite Peak, Wausau shopping & restaurants, DC Everest High School, and the local Community Center. This is a place I would stay at again and would recommend to others. Thank you!

The hotel is very clean and well taken care of. Staff is friendly and accommodating. The breakfast staff was amazing. I had an issue with my rate changing upon checkout. The next day, they showed their professionalism and honored the initial rate they had quoted me. If it wasn't for this Hassle and inconvenience, it would be 5 stars all around. I would still recommend this hotel to anyone.

I was in town, working for the small hospital that was conveniently right behind this hotel. I had to stay here for ten nights, and it was great! I had a king room. It was clean, the temperature was set perfectly as soon as I walked in. The bed was very comfortable. The room offered a mini fridge, a microwave, and a coffee maker. Blackout curtains were perfect for sleeping in on the weekend. Their exercise room is small, doesn't offer a treadmill, but the bike and elliptical work just as well. Their pool is clean and warm, but the people in the exercise room are able to see you in the pool. The pool area also have a shower to rinse off and a clean restroom. Every single staff member that I've encountered was GREAT from day one! They were accommodating and helpful with many things! For my ten nights stay, I was able to get my room cleaned as often or as little as I liked. Location is also great. Many grocery options nearby. Many restaurants or fast food within a short driving distance. Plenty of dive bars all around. Great continental breakfast with many options for on-the-go or sitting down to eat; they have plenty of seating. This hotel is definitely one of the better hotels I've stayed in!

Thank you Fairfield Inn for your inability to have any kind of decency for people who are having a family emergency and charge them for a room that they can't use. What is the best part you ask? I'm sure you will still rent out this room. So you received ours and another person's money. So you just doubled your payday. I hope you feel good about yourself. Don't worry, I know you won't loose sleep over it.

A fabulous stay, the hotel and rooms were very clean; staff was very professional and helpful. The breakfast in the morning was exceptional! The pool and hot tub were great, they provided many Big Size Towels for everyone. Will definitely come back and recommend this hotel!

Unfortunately the hot tub wasn’t hot. It was warm at best & the chemicals were so bad you couldn’t run the jets without your eyes burning. We booked this place based on the reviews and the hot tub and pool. Everything else has been good so far but the hot tub is a major letdown.

Not sure if this place is a brand new, but it feels that way. Everything is clean and organized and blissfully quiet. Everything from phone conversation to book, front desk at check in, breakfast attendant…staff is textbook courteous and helpful. Good job to all responsible. Thank you.

Excellent, friendly staff. Rooms were well maintained and clean. Nice breakfast choices. The only downside is nothing within walking distance except the hospital across the street.
