Amid construction the stay was still very nice. Hopefully upon completion breakfast is better. Was close by where we needed to be. Room was nice, bed was comfortable. Breakfast very lack luster. Staff was very friendly. Will stay again for next trip.

The staff was friendly, the pools were good. Wish the whirlpool was a hot tub but it was nice nonetheless. We stayed in room 118 and by the time we were done with our shower, we could have taken a bath in the water.

Pool and jacuzzi was nice but hotel was gross not cleaned well breakfast area full of knats and flies. Couldn't even get a coffee without a knat jumping in.

I am not sure if all the negative comments are for the right hotel. I have stayed at some 1 star hotels and this definitely isn’t that. I was on the 3rd floor and it was fairly quiet. My room was clean and seemed in newer condition. It had everything you need for an overnight stay. The bathroom had the full size shampoo and conditioner. The continental breakfast had the usual items. My only complaint was the ged was a little too hard for me and woke with a slight backache. Otherwise, I would definitely stay here again. Don’t let the recent bad reviews deter you.

***Update***
The hotel never checked us out when we left. My husband asked him 3 times to make sure that we were checked out and the guy at the front assured him we were. I got a text the following morning wondering when we would be checking out. I called the hotel and the guy that answered thought we were still in our room. He finally checked us out but now it shows we stayed the full night even though we didn't. I filed a complaint with Wyndham as well as the booking website and both are refusing to refund our money. I called the Marathon County Health Department and filed a formal complaint. This place needs to be shut down. I have now filed a complaint again them with the Better Business Bureau. Fingers crossed they are able to get us our refund!

This place was sketchy to say the least. From the moment I walked in I had a bad feeling. The first room we were in had holes in the walls and smelled absolutely horrible. We were able to switch rooms no problem but the second room was even worse. The walls were filthy and questionable substances were all over the room. It looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed in a very long time with crumbs all over the place. The screen in the window was bent as though someone had tried breaking it open. We opened the fridge to put our drinks away and there was mold all over it. Decided to leave and get a room somewhere else. We went to the front desk to check out and we were told the manager was not available and the employee said she didn’t know how to check us out. She told us to come back later to check out. When packing our things we noticed the manager was in the parking lot fixing his car. When asking about a refund we were told since it was booked through a third party website we would need to contact them which is understandable. Fingers crossed we get our money back. I would never suggest this hotel to anyone!

This place is less than super 8 quality
Checked in to an associate on his phone at the front desk. Room 106. Walked into a strong odor of fried food. Mirror missing from the wall with the glue still on the wall.
Toilet was not attached to the floor and leaked when you flushed it. The fridge was not working and smelled horrible. Went back to front desk 2 times to report issues. Finally after the front desk attendant come in to see the issues he gave us another room that he stated was newly remodeled.
Room 306. Card reader needs to be updated. Cards had to be swiped many times for entry. Towel in room looked like it was used in a mechanic shop. Ripped and freying. The blow dryer was sitting under vanity on floor. The bracket screws hanging out and could cut someone. Very unsafe.
Towels are very worn and stained. Service was horrible. The ice machine looks like it has never been cleaned. Hallways have never been vacuumed. There was a strip of Hilti gun loads laying under the ice machine. Wow. Pure laziness. And to top it off. A picture of the back offices. Horrible to look at first site. The pool chlorine smell was overwhelming and burned the eyes. Limesscale was very heavy on the titles. Means the water is hardly balanced or maintained. Very very poor service and stay. This place should be shut down until new management takes over.

Checked in came to room and found hair in bathtub in 4 spots and on towels, no extra toilet paper and roll there had about one use left, ice bucket dirty, all open outlets shut off with switch nowhere to charge phone by bed, was gone next day til almost 4pm came back and room not serviced needed to call desk to get garbages emptied and dirty towels removed and get new towels then needed to go to desk for ice bucket bag, new cups and more toilet paper. Also heat only worked on high. Would not run on low. Will not stay here again!

Just really poorly managed. The lobby is unkept and not vacuumed. The rooms look like they weren't cleaned. The pool is gross and no clean towels. It has been a while since I stayed at a hotel like this. Even my kids were grossed out. Too nervous to even eat the breakfast because of how everything else looks.
