Jonathan and I had the greatest experience working with East African Gorilla Tours for our first trip to Rwanda. Frank worked with us to design the perfect itinerary to meet our needs. He personally called us to answer all our questions and understand what was important to us. Once in Kigali, Rwanda, our tour guide in Akagera National Park was fabulous! We felt like three friends out together on safari. East African Gorilla Tours also arranged our trip to Volcanoes National Park to see the golden monkeys. We loved East African Gorilla Tours! Frank, our guide, did a fantastic job. We kept changing our minds and adjusting our budget—not an easy task when working with two travelers from the USA and one from New Zealand. Despite this, we had an unforgettable, once-in-a-lifetime trip. The hotels were a mix of 4- and 5-star accommodations, and our guides, Frank in Volcanoes National Park and Festus in Akagera National Park, were brilliant. We couldn’t have asked for more. The food was excellent, and we saw the Big Five along with so much more than we would have on a standard tour. Being a private group of three allowed us to experience more and gain deeper insights. I would choose East African Gorilla Tours again in a heartbeat and have been recommending them to everyone!
