This tour was so cool! We brought a group of 26– 21 students and 5 adults— and Suellen handled us with such patience and grace. Tours with high schoolers are no easy feat. It was such an interesting experience. It’s amazing the things we don’t know about the places we call home. I would highly recommend you book a tour and experience Suellen’s expertise and enthusiasm about the history of mining in Colorado.

This experience went way past our expectations. We were met right on time and were the only couple taking the tour. Normally, I would think they would cut it short, but the opposite happened. We went places places that I think were not on the normal route and it was awesome. Suellen explained every detail at a LOT of places and talked about the past history and how it is today. She added something really special at the end of our tour that capped our day off with overwhelming appreciation of the people who work in the many gold/silver mines in the area. Suellen “LOVES” this area and is active in multiple organizations that provide support for the local community

An excellent tour that helps you understand and follow the history of the Gold Rush in Colorado. Suellen is a knowledgeable and charismatic guide. She took us to many places, ghost towns, mines and even showed how to pan for gold! A very informative but also entertaining tour, highly recommended when visiting Colorado.

Suellen was our guide and we got a VIP tour with the owner of the company (above) and her adorable dog. We also got a private tour with Jessie, who was great, and very knowledgeable as an active miner. The private tour took us through Chaffee mine and we were provided with hard hats at the entrance. We had a gold nugget of a time with an experience that was hand-picked(axed) just for us.

This tour was so amazing!! We learned so much about the history of Central City and mining history and technology. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone, especially folks with kids.
