I have rented from eagle rider in the past and have generally pretty good experiences, so I trusted to rent for a bit longer of a road trip of around 2000 miles, and signed up for their membership. I made the reservation about 1 month in advance and put comments in the reservation specifying the long trip and importance of PM on the bike to be up to date. I reserved a common bike in their fleet (road glide) only to end up being given a bike that was in need of every possible service.

The tire was already past the wear indicators, the oil had not been changed in 8000 miles, the front brakes shook violently when being used over 65 mph, and suspension was in need of service to the point where the bike would get scary speed wobbles if cornering over 70MPH on common highways. All combined made a scary experience when riding in rain, snow, and desolate highways in the west.

By the time I returned the bike, as I suspected the rear tire had exposed wire, and 10000 mile old oil in it. Hope that this experience is an anomaly but unfortunately made for a less than enjoyable road trip. I let the agent that I returned the bike to of all of these issues, and he documented it and told me to have a nice day, no apologies or signs of concern.

This was our first time renting with EagleRider, and we had a great experience from start to finish. We called a few times while planning and always got helpful, friendly answers. Check-in and check-out were smooth and straightforward.

At check-in, we were asked about our route and given some really valuable tips—especially about weather conditions and hazards like wildlife and open range areas. As first-timers in the region, we really appreciated that extra attention to detail.

We were also able to store our luggage with them while we were out riding for six days, which made everything so much easier.

The bike itself performed great through everything—heat, snow, blizzard, hail… you name it, we rode through it. We definitely recommend EagleRider, and their membership program is a great option if you plan to rent more than once.

We had a great experience with EagleRider Phoenix with our seven day motorcycle rentals. The staff were friendly, the motorcycles were current model year with low mileage and the pick up/ drop off was quick. We will definitely be renting again from EagleRider!

The Phoenix Eaglerider had the bikes ready upon my arrival, the associate explained the contract and provided a an overview of the bike- check-in was smooth. The bike I received was what I reserved, albeit a bit higher mileage than I expected, and with some damage to the cylinder heads and bags. Also, I received a “maintenance overdue” warning each time I started the bike. The oil level was visible, but just below the sight gage. Also, my bike did not come with a radio, while my riding buddy’s did, and we paid the same price. The R1250 RT was a great ride for Southern AZ, but had a few minor design issues. Getting heated grips/Seat took several layers of menus, and the same to change heat levels. Also, the quick shifter on my bike was very clunky, so I avoided using it. My bike did not display tire pressure, while my buddy’s did - I assume that is part of an optional package. The tires on my bike showed considerable wear- past what my own bike would ever reach. Additionally, my buddy and I reserved the same bike - his had radio and other options and was in great shape. Mine had damage, no radio, more miles, and was past due on service.

Joel made my 10 day rental an awesome vacation. He fixed me up with the exact bike I wanted and was right there to help even when I had a few issues after hours. This was my second year renting from Eagle Rider Phoenix and Joel was just as helpful last time.I will definitely do it again

Staff was nice and their operation getting me checked in and checked out was quick. The bike they checked out to me however wasn't in good shape and realistically shouldn't have been rented out. The brakes needed service, the clutch lever assembly was loose from being dropped on, and the brake lever was snapped off on the end. Besides that, it had some electrical issues that was causing it to throw a CEL and stalled on me twice. Your results may vary as they have a lot of bikes and I just might have drawn the short straw.

Me and a friend decided to rent some adventure bikes. I normally ride a bagger andI really wanted to try the Harley Pan American Special, but when we showed up it was out for repairs last minute. So a little disappointed to start, but they set me up with a BMW 1250 GS. In the end the 3 day trip around Arizona was a blast. No major issues with the bike. Great service at pickup getting me setup with a different bike and drop off was also easy and very friendly staff. Will be renting again next time I'm in Phoenix.
