The fried pickles are a delightful appetizer, while the fried cauliflower is satisfactory. The hamburger steak, however, is unfortunately dry. The fried catfish is acceptable, but the grilled chicken is diced and somewhat dry. The restaurant itself is charming, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. However, the quality of the food is not the highest in the area.

Super delicious everything except perhaps the green beans which were over-salted. The pancakes were the best! We enjoyed the salmon cakes, brunch foods, and the country fried steak. This is a must stop for those who are looking for a good dining spot after church especially. It's quaint and the service is good.

By far, the worst dining experience ever. The food was horrible and there were no customers, but plenty of dirty tables. We had to wait forever to be seated. The food was not hot. The potatoes were instant. I have had better food and service in a school cafeteria. I do not recommend.

The positives: I like the lights on the ceiling and the wall poster. I liked the roll.

The negatives: I am nearly certain I’m eating microwave dinner/hungryman food. The mashed potatoes were made from flakes. The green beans were so salty they weren’t edible. The meat was “wet” and had an awful texture. I liked the roll, but I like frozen yeast rolls that I can buy at Walmart! We are in Marion often, we won’t be back here though. Not having fountain drinks is a pet peeve of mine too. Getting a 20oz drink that I can’t get a refill of…😤

Came in for Sunday brunch, were not disappointed. My dining companion had the country fried steak which he allowed as compared favorably with the best he'd ever had. I had an omelette, which was similarly satisfying. The decor is a little sparse and the atmosphere a bit minimalistic, but they had friendly service, and good food for a good price. Would absolutely recommend for locals and tourists alike!
