This is a beautiful park. There are swings and a playset for little ones, and covered seating for picnics. There's also a ball field, basketball and volleyball courts, and restrooms. You can also walk across the water and fish from the boardwalk. It is great for all ages.

This park has a trail that goes around the lake that not everyone is aware of. The boardwalk crosses the edge of the lake then the trail continues to the east side where there are two foot bridges. At a moderate pace, you can easily walk around the lake in forty minutes. Trail is groomed in the winter for snowshoeing and skiing.

Was there in early spring. Nice little park. Very clean. No dogs dang spotted. Pretty long Lake front walk. A very big and beautiful tree. Maybe it is a black walnut.

One of my favorite little parks!

There are flush toilets! Many pavilions to rent, one for sure, maybe 2 of the pavilions has a kitchen like area you can rent as well. There is a covered stage, baseball field, playground for the kids plus a nice breeze off of the lake. A long walking bridge towards the South part of the lake gives beautiful views of the nature all around the lake. Great place to take the kids for an afternoon of fun or rent a pavilion for a graduation or family reunion.

A really nice park. My group, the Dresser Lions, provided the food for the Polk County Mental Health Task Force event on Saturday, 9/24/22. They have an awesome kitchen building and pavilions. Highly recommended!
