The best experience we have had a very long time in purchasing a large ticket item. We arrive 20 minutes before closing, and the gal helping us try on kayaks was super helpful. We tried all the kayaks we wanted to try on, including the suggestion of the kayaks she had purchased. We selected a style we liked, however there was only one in stock in the store. The second one was at their location down on the chain of lakes, the owner suggested that we head down to the location that was already closed to look at the one we wanted in the other color. In our discussions, it was suggested that we come back the following day to try those kayaks out before we made the large purchase seeing they had closed already over an hour and it was raining. Not to mention we bought Kayak early that year we were not happy with. We arrive the next day with two kayaks, sitting in the water waiting for us to try along with two new paddles to try out. We got on the water and instantly knew these were our 2 new kayaks. Hands down stellar customer service including loading up our new purchases with additional tie down straps.

We rented a pontoon boat today for a half-day (4 hour) rental. Everything was ready when we arrived, the boat was clean and well equipped. The small outboard started easily and ran perfectly, providing plenty of power for our trip around the lakes. We had three larger float tubes that needed inflating, which were inflated quickly and cheerfully by the staff, saving us a lot of time. We anchored and swam, using the two anchors provided and the convenient front-mounted swimming ladder. A perfect day on the water.

We had such a phenomenal experience with Adventure Outfitters last weekend! From start to finish, their team (John, Tim, & Cherri) delivered top-notch service and expertise.

We had planned to kayak the Waupaca River, but due to recent heavy rainfall the team deemed the river too high for safe paddling. They selected an alternative river for us to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience. Which is was! They provided everything we needed and it was all in great condition.

Our group chose this location for our trip because it was centrally located for all of us. After such an amazing experience, we're already planning our return visit!

We booked the night glow kayaking tour online. When we arrived there was a sign on the door that they were CLOSED for the season! We had taken a few days off work, booked a hotel and drove to Adventure Outfitters, paid for our tour online And had a confirmation from them
We called several times, left voicemails and went to the restaurant next door and talked to several people who had no idea where they were! Finally after 2 hours of waiting we saw someone opening the door to the place. He said he was called minutes earlier to ask if he could take us on our tour. He was fine. They made us feel as a huge burden even though we prebooked and had a confirmation and paid.
Put a damper on our night! Inexcusable to be this unorganized.

Lakeside Location. OMG the service was amazing! The guys that got us set up in our kayaks made it so easy, we knew what to do, where to go, & loved it all! Heck, they moved us right into the water and my feet never even got wet, same when we returned, lifted us out. I strongly recommend the lakeside location! We were thrilled with everything.

My fiancé, Dustin, and I went in to purchase a fishing kayak that he had seen on the website. Upon arriving at the store, we were also presented with another fishing kayak (a little higher in price). Ultimately, we ended up going with the more expensive kayak, but store owner was very generous and gave us an AMAZING DEAL!! He and his staff are super friendly and knowledgeable, and went above and beyond customer service!

After months of searching online I went into Adventure Outfitters to see what they had. Came out with a Pelican Catch Mode fishing kayak. They even delivered it, locally of course.

Lots of room, stable platform, comfortable to sit and paddle and easy to load and unload. I needed something for the river, big enough for me and my fishing buddy and I have to tell you this was far and away the best choice. See pics of maiden voyage on Marl lake on the chain!

The folks here know their boats, get to know you the customer and have been back for several smaller items since.

We just did a rental for 8 on the chain through them. They didn't bring old banged up boats or equipment, they had the Old Town Vaper, new this yr. They don't skimp and neither should you. Check them out. Worth the trip.
