Polite and courteous staff. Pets are allowed for a small additional fee I believe it's $20 per pet. There is also truck and trailer parking in a dirt lot on the right side of the inn, it's not on premises but their surveillance cameras reach the lot for a little extra reinsurance. There is also a beautiful view of the mountain for several of there rooms.

I travel a lot for work. I can definitely say this was the cleanest and most comfortable hotel I have stayed at. With a price under $100, that is really impressive.
Everything seemed recently renovated. The bench for putting shoes on and off, the drop down blinds, the full sized mirror, are all little things that I appreciated. The bed sheets were also super comfy.

If I had to knit pick, I’d say some dimmable lights would do wonders, And it’d be nice if breakfast lasted until at least 10 am.

The gym didn’t have much in it, but at this price point, it’s impressive they had any sort of workout area.

This is a very nice, recently renovated, pet friendly hotel. If you are traveling east or westbound on I-80 and are torn on spending a night at either Elko or Winnemucca, then consider this Comfort Inn located between the two towns. ||The Comfort Inn in Battle Mountain is close to I-80, but far enough away that there is zero highway noise. Renovation of the rooms were done in Feb of 2024 and it is obvious. The decor of hotel and lobby are refreshing, with a light colored theme. As of the time of my stay in Dec 2024, the remaining renovation tasks still being worked were the pool and laundry room. I did not need either, so it did not matter. Call beforehand if you need those. The outside parking area is also planned to be renewed. ||While Battleground is small, there is an Electrify America 350kw charging station about 1 mile from the hotel. We had dinner at the Owl restaurant, which also offers a traditional breakfast, should you desire more than the eat & run morning buffet at the Comfort. ||I would stay here again.

This was our best hotel experience in the last two years. We asked for, and got, a room without guests above us (after a horrible experience at our last stay at another hotel in Idaho. ). We also got a room at the very end of the hallway near the exit, which was very convenient for us. The hotel is located well off the freeway, so there is no freeway noise and minimal neighborhood noise.
The room was clean, the bedding was clean and fresh looking and the beds were super comfortable. Bonus: the heater has a “low” fan setting and we were able to keep it on at at a comfortable setting all night without it waking us up each time it cycled on.

The microwave and mini fridge were very handy. (Although, the microwave was plugged into a power strip and kept turning off, so I did have to remove it from the cabinet and plug it in elsewhere.)

The breakfast was wonderful! So nice to see some protein available! Scrambled eggs, bacon, yogurt - along with bagels, english muffins, gravy, fruit, cereals and of course coffee and other beverages. The breakfasts are always highly appreciated!

The only negatives, and this was kind of a biggie and I honestly couldn’t even believe it, but there were no real curtains on the window. There was a roll-up shade, but it was SEE THROUGH!! So people outside could see IN and we could not make the room dark for sleeping because of the outside lights. The blinds either need to be replaced with 100% opaque or install curtains to close so you can have some privacy to get dressed, etc.
And a minor negative, and barely enough to mention, is no shelf in the shower to put soap or shampoo. But I guess it makes it easier to clean.

We make the trip through here twice a year and often end up in Elko, but from now on we will push another hour to stay here!

We had such a quiet, restful night though that I still rated 5 stars. Please just get some curtains.

Skip the cheap motels in Winnemucca, drive a little further and stay in this nice, new, clean and comfortable HOTEL with a full breakfast!

We needed an inexpensive late night pit stop, and read reviews of the cheap places in winnemucca. They looked iffy; I called each motel to ask questions. Attendants were hard to understand, a little dodgy, and several of them just hung up on me!

We drove an hour further and scored this new (built or Renovated in feb 2024?), super comfortable, incredibly clean hotel for the SAME PRICE as the dingy motels (with our 10% AAA discount).

I didn’t expect much for the price, but DANG it’s nice. Beds were comfy, optional shade kept morning light down, plenty of pillows and towels, lots of outlets (including USB and USB type C)… and the best part was the FULL ON breakfast in the morning (only till 9am- beware and don’t sleep too late). We had biscuits and gravy, bacon, waffles, juice, eggs, English muffins, and even a peanut butter and honey sandwich. (Bagels, cereal, muffins, yogurt also available).

Super quiet. Workout room looked nice but we didn’t have time before hitting the road. No spa/hot tub; pool is drained for winter.

Late night attendant and morning attendant were both helpful and kind. Easy check in/check out.

You won’t regret booking here!

Stayed at the Comfort Inn and Suites in Battle Mountain Nevada. We were on a fairly long trip, for us,and this was the halfway point home. The hotel is located on the Business Loop of I-80. So, it is several blocks away from the central Battle Mountain exit. The hotel is clean on the outside and is obviously fairly newly remodeled. A welcoming appearance at the check in desk. The hotel has an outdoor pool. However, the pool was closed and drained of water. The hotel does have a small fitness center, which I didn't get a chance to utilize. It had free weights, a bench, treadmill and a stationary bike.
Our room was pretty clean and smelled clean, too. Linens and towels were clean. The beds were very comfortable, with several pillows provided. During the night, it was nice and quiet, with our air conditioning running as background noise.
We did notice the hotel was having a bit of a bug infestation issue. Not sure what kind. Small black bugs. There were a few dead bugs in the bathroom and room. Most were located near the first floor side door entrance. They were obviously trying to address the issue, as the bugs that were visible were dead.
The hotel offered breakfast in the morning, which consisted of a fairly good assortment of things (scrambled eggs, sausage patties, waffles, breads, yogurt, cereals, coffee, tea and juices).
Service was great. I even received a dinner recommendation that turned out to be fantastic!
If not for the few dead bugs in our room and bathroom, a long with on the first floor side entrance, this place would get a solid 4 star review. They were obviously trying to rid their hotel of the pest problem, which did not appear to be their fault.
At least the property was not over run by the Mormon crickets along the highway to the east of Battle Mountain. 😄

For the price you just can't beat it!! I'm really picky but this hotel has been newly remodeled and they did a great job of it. New beds, furniture, window coverings
and bathroom in the rooms. Our room did still have carpet but everything else felt fresh and new. It has a pool but we got in late and left early but it looked very inviting. Breakfast was the usual and we were happy with it. If I have any complaints, and this is being very nit picky, get rid of carpet in all rooms and scrub the entrance to elevator and carpet in there. So happy we found this place! Keep up the good work!!
