It was nice having a safe place to stop and take a picture of the Welcome sign. The bathrooms were sparkling clean. The brochures were nicely organized and well-stocked. I even got to have a good laugh with a woman who scared me coming out of the bathroom stall because she thought it was her daughter inside. Lol

This place looked pretty cool. It was closed when I drove thru but I got some photos to share. The old cow town museum type place is very big. It's located by the rest stop, but the entrance is on the other side of the building from the rest stop. Looks like there's a lot of room to run outside for kids. Lots of parking in the huge parking lot.

I’m really glad I stopped here! The lady was EXTREMELY friendly and helpful and really helped me find a lot of great information. It’s also a great place to stop and stretch your legs. HIGHLY recommended you stop here especially if you’re traveling from Kansas City to Denver.

Rhonda was an absolute sweetheart and gave us lots of information for our trip! She was so knowledgeable and had answers to all our questions. It was the best stop on our 8 hour trip, definitely made our day and she even took our pictures! The building was great and had lots of info for what to do/where to go.

We arrived after the welcome center had closed for the day but luckily I checked and found a stack of paper state maps near the restroom that is open 24/7!

We were told by the ladies at a different rest stop that all the Colorado welcome centers have water and rv dump open 24/7 365 days a year. We do not feel welcomed at all. We feel lied to.The water is off and a sign says closed for winter. Well why don't you post that on Google maps? Y'all have cost use time, gas and no water. Thank goodness the Conoco truck stop down the street has water on...corner of bldg near their 2 black mailboxes.

The Colorado welcome center is right next to the Old Town museum. The restrooms are really nice and the welcome center has you done the number of times over the years. If you have never been to Colorado it's worth a quick stop here.
