The location is amazing, the studio is beach front and center, and it's super nice. The room was very clean and pleasant with a kitchen, which was really helpful. And Bernard was great as well, he was very attentive and really nice during our stay. We love it and we'll come back again very recommended 👌

My stay at Club Bamboo South was magnificent. Your room is situated right on Bradenton Beach, and your walk to the ocean is about 3 minutes (maybe, 60 seconds if you run). I had a studio with balcony room, so I often sat right on the balcony and watched the water. There is a microwave, stove, oven, and refrigerator with a freezer. And, they provide pots, pans, plates, and silverware. Compared to some other properties on AMI, this is also a budget friendly property. There were some signs of weather damage on the exterior when I was there (September 2021). Nothing too bad. Parking is limited on the island, but I was given one reserved space for my stay. I plan to return in the near future.

Unit 224 is unacceptable in light of comparably priced beach rentals. Here's why: moldy, old-person overall smell in room, thread-bare sheets, dirty blanket, no comforter/bedspread, stained towels, ragged-edged wash clothes, minimal amount of mismatched silverware and utensils, hodgepodge collection of dishes and glassware, cheap pots and pans, heavily stained coffee maker basket, sand-covered dresser drawers, grimy interior kitchen cabinets, rusty bathroom light fixture and shower curtain mounts, cheap, wall-mounted dining table with plastic, grade-school chairs that are not the correct height for eating, no coffee table, insufficient lighting of two mismatched, desk-size lamps with linen shade embedded in dirt and plastic shade cracked, sheer drapery missing wand on one side, rusty balcony chairs, industrial-grade tile floor, and the list goes on. The studio layout is unfortunate too-- all noise is easily heard coming from the bathroom off the galley kitchen e.g. toilet, shower and there isn't enough soundproofing. Gross! I voiced all my complaints to Marty, the property manager who genuinely wanted to make things better. But the problem is with the owners-- they need to either fix-up the place to fall in line with comparably priced rentals, severely lower the daily rate, or list it as the perfect place for college, spring-breakers who are only interested in an ocean view.

I love the place. The price is reasonable for ocean front unit with big balcony overlooking pool and Gulf of Mexico. Unit was adorable, full size frig, sink, micro and two burner stove. Bathrooms somewhat small for more than 2 people. king size bed with pull out couch and pull out ottoman. You cant find anything for less on the island and none with these views. Love the place, love the location. Very pleased. Could have been cleaner, especially since that is included in the price and the ice machine was broke, had to go down the street for ice, but overall, we would go back anytime.

We have been here 2 nights of our 5 night stay in room 125. The location is convenient, the view is beautiful, and the room was clean. However, the tub faucet is a nightmare. You can only take cold or scalding hot showers. I think the plumbing was done incorrectly. They advertised a heated pool and that was the main reason I chose this rental. The pool is NOT heated and has been dirty for 2 days now. Haven't seen a single person use it, but a duck did! Would have been nice to have a screen door so we could listen to the waves at night. For the price I will stick to my trusty Holiday Inn Resorts with onsite restaurant, bar, heated pool, and housekeeping!

Needs a big time update. It's old and seems like it's falling apart. The room was loud and open, had a noisey fan, loud curtains, no oven, old school key locks, was dirty under the fitted sheet. The pool was cold and nobody was ever using it besides the ducks and duck poop. Great view though.

Our third time back to this beautiful location.
Must have changed hands, because:
Filthy room, 225. Dirty floor, soiled toilet, (urine on seat!) filthy utensils, used kleenexes behind mattress.
Don't bother with this place!

I think what you get really depends on the unit. We rented through VRBO and had a very nice studio. Everything overlooks the beach with perfect views of the sunset. The small pool is fine. It’s nice that they have loungers to take to the beach. I question if there is enough parking but we didn’t have problem getting a spot.
