See, I knew when I walked in and saw that the only drinks they served were bottled water and cool-aid. This has to be good, and I was right.

I had the sample plate wings, perch, shrimp, pickles, orka, coleslaw, fries, and a slice of white bread.

Yep, I should have known 3 different cool-aids. Yes, the cook throw down for me.

I've tasted them all using the fries to cleanse my palette. Yep, it's good. No one dish overpower the other.

I only peeked at the dessert enough to know where I going for my next cheat treat.

Chicago Chicken Shack - Broadview, IL

If you're looking for the freshest fried chicken in Broadview, look no further than Chicago Chicken Shack. The moment you bite into their chicken, you'll be greeted with a crispy exterior and steaming hot, juicy meat inside. It's a true delight!

But that's not all. The churros are an absolute must-try. Perfectly fried, sweet, and delicious, they make for an amazing treat.

And let's not forget about the fried shrimp and fish. Both are cooked to perfection, with a crunchy coating and tender, flavorful seafood inside. Whether you're in the mood for chicken, shrimp, or fish, Chicago Chicken Shack has you covered.

Highly recommended for a delicious and satisfying meal!

Unbelievable my husband drove an hour the okra was burnt ,dry and overcooked the wings were overcooked and tasted as if they were cooked in dirty grease and I honestly don't know what kind of fish that was. First advertises as 3 fillets but the reality is that it's a fillet and 1/2 it's was super salty super thin not flaky at all this was unlike any catfish I've ever eaten it was dense and dry also worst waste of money nit worth driving back to return needless to say I threw it all away even the hot sauce was extremely salty and the mild sauce tasted weird. So very disappointed 😞

I’ve seen this place for awhile and one day decided to try them. This was the best decision I’ve made when it comes to chicken and has become one of my favorites.

Nothing less than great. I come here at least once a week to eat. The staff here have the best hospitality and cater to whatever you need whether you’re dining in or getting them to go. The food is fresh, the music is good and the prices are unbeatable. If you’re in the area and want home felt service and great food I highly recommend trying Chicago’s Chicken Shack.

The chicken, shrimp, fish, were fried to perfection, and seasoned perfectly! The Kool-aid was perfect, just like old times (I got red 😂). The coleslaw was delicious and the sauces complemented the meal perfectly! I really enjoyed this meal. Bring this to Youngstown Ohio please!!

Decided to finally give this Chicken Shack a try. It's mainly wings and sides, so if you're expecting full/half chicken or thighs and breast you may want to look elsewhere. Now if you're looking for some chicken wings on steroids (not really they just look like they are) then this is the spot. They have a couple of flavors to choose from. I tried the lemon pepper which was a little under seasoned, but that's because I'm used to them being a little over seasoned. Fried okra and fries for sides along with shrimp and catfish as separate entrees. All orders are served with a side of coleslaw and a slice of bread, but the only give you one slice so if you need more don't forget to ask. Sauce is added to the chicken during preparation. If you're not into mild or hot sauce then I recommend letting them know when placing your order. All in all it was a good experience. Enjoy!

I ordered from here yesterday and spent $74 on the worst food imaginable. The chicken on the inside was rubbery! I couldn’t even eat it. When I looked at the inside it separated in ways I’ve never seen chicken separate. It was like eating a bunch of tendons or something. I actually question if this was the new lab grown chicken they approved for sale. If someone wants to talk to me about my experience I would love to speak with you! My daughter wouldn’t eat it and my mom wouldn’t eat it.
