Great location, wonderful host. Michi does a great job keeping an eye on the sky so if you're inside warming he lets you know if you're missing something. He does a good job at managing guests that want to use flash photography where others want to use long shutter speeds (thus the flash photography doesn't coincide well). Really good deal, and fun to chat with other Aurora chasers. Highly recommend!

Fabulous lights the night we were there. Michi & his wife were wonderful hosts. He picked us up exactly when he said he would. He was very friendly & knowledgeable. He continuously monitored the lights and alerted us when they started. The lodge was warm & cozy with plenty of space for everyone.

Michi was great and waited late for us past the 2am end time when the lights showed up late.

The lodge was clean and comfortable and Michi was knowledgeable about the Aurora and shared his knowledge.

He also drove us safely to and from the lodge and our hotel.

Michi is the best! He really tries to spot the northern lights for you. Even when conditions aren't great. It's all up to Mother Nature. The pick up and drop off service is great. Super convenient! The lodge is a great, cozy and inviting place to hang out while waiting for the lights.

Amazing location. Thoughtful guide and hosts. Cozy lodge, friendly atmosphere.

Michi was instantly gracious, helpful, and hospitable from the time he picked us up at our airbnb, to the drive up to his lodge, to the time we spent there, and to the time he brought us back to our airbnb. He and his partner Keiko are superb hosts!

We were also very lucky the night we were there. Lady Aurora showed herself almost immediately after we arrived and got settled in the lodge. We had an AMAZING TIME!!!

On our drive to and fro the lodge, Michi was on the lookout for wildlife that we could encounter, and luckily, a mother moose and her offspring was roaming around downtown at 3AM and we were able to watch them peacefully wander around the hotel parking lot of one of the guests that night.

I went with my boyfriend and we had such an amazing time , is the perfect location to see the Aurora this was the highlight of our trip and I’m so grateful we got to see it , we will be back , thank you michi for making this an awesome experience for us ✨✨✨

Michi was an excellent host - he is well informed, and does his best to help maximize your chances of seeing the aurora. The lodge is very cozy, and far enough away from Fairbanks to avoid light pollution... so even if the aurora is very faint, your pictures will still come out looking OK. An awesome experience overall!

Oh my god! No words can describe the beauty, power, serenity of Mother Nature.

The chances of Aurora boreal were slim yesterday but we got lucky! When Mitch picked us we could see the northern light from the bus, he stopped on the way when the light became strong so that we could enjoy. When we reached at the lodge it was warm with all the necessary amenities to spend a really cold night.

We saw the lights dancing, the place had great spots to take photos. Just hoped that some of the lights at the walk way were also closed but understand that might be a safety concern. Got great shots, was able to absorb the event with my eyes and would definitely recommend. Cannot get enough of it!
