The doctors and staff have been very good. That would be a 4 star.
My situation and my dissatisfied is with doctor and aurora billing. Had a annual physical that is to be free with my company's benefit. Somehow, in my annual, it was changed to a office visit! Now i received a bill that is very expensive! Several calls made to aurora. And they said that the doctor discussed my health ( I answered doctors questions and was done in 8 minutes ) and that constitutes from a annual wellness to office visit! So far, 6 hours of phone time and much of it with a 3rd party with my insurance. Unknowingly billing me for a vist. It is a nightmare!
I had this appointment scheduled from a year ago. And this is just unbelievable! My insurance company has never seen this ! Be aware of these games to screw people over ! For this ,I rate a zero star for that and will be looking at other places then aurora. The will lose all my future and family .
Business.

Erin Polczynski is amazing and deserves all of the stars. I cant say enough positive things about her, however the lady at the reception desk is SO RUDE. I’ve had the unfortunate time of talking to her twice. She is dismissive and acts like speaking to patients is the worst, most frustrating thing in the entire world, complete with her fun sighs. I dread talking to her and after this last time, I will just go to a different desk or different receptionist to check me in. I’m not sure if I personally did something to her by simply checking in (no issues, updates, or anything) or if she is just the most miserable person on the planet, but she should NOT be dealing with customers like that. I’ve had 13 years of dealing with customers and 5 dealing with patients. I would expect to be coached, written up, or even fired if I had half the attitude she has in my jobs. I hope her life improves so she can stop being miserable to the people she “helps”. I shouldn’t leave a dr’s appointment check in wondering if I upset someone and feeling bad for being treated so poorly. I’m sorry confirming that there were no changes to my name, DOB, allergies, insurance, and emergency contact was so frustrating. Please seek employment elsewhere.

Horrendous walk in clinic. In the time it takes me to drive to the West Bend Aurora clinic and get seen there, I'd still be in the waiting room at the Hartford location. They even took down the wait time on their screen to hide how bad it is. Physicians assistants lie to your face about what they are willing to do to help you and change documentation to cover themselves. They say they will call you back but never do. They say they will call prescriptions in but don't. They refuse to listen to your complaints and wave them off. Their answer for everything is covid testing even if it doesn't make sense. They double book their doctors and cancel appointments last minute leaving patients in a lurch. I was told by a scheduler that they only have one pediatrician left so good luck getting in if your kid is sick and you don't want walk in. I also have experienced extra testing that goes against what was recommended by other doctors. They order repeated tests for no good reason and push pills. I've also tried to contact them about some of these complaints and they never contacted me back. Heaven forbid you have more than one child or family member who needs attention in a week. They'll look down on you as a burden and refuse to actually look at the person and make guesses without evidence to back it. Also they regularly lack the supplies needed to do several things from basic testing for covid to simple facial tissues. Not a good place. Go elsewhere. Literally anywhere else would be better than this place. Its terrible and the staff at walk in don't care two figs about people.

Doctor Jason Schad and his team (Jordon) were absolutely amazing. I went in today for an eye exam.... They spent a ton of time with me, making sure they had everything right for me before I left. They explained every last detail to me. I never felt rushed at all. They made sure I was comfortable the whole time. One of my best Appointments I've ever had at this location 🙂 If you need an Optometrist I highly recommend making an appointment with Jason. The 2 men know what they are doing! Congrats to Aurora on finding talent like this!

Impossible to get an appointment!

My children (ages 1, 3 and 5) are seen at the pediatric clinic by Dr. Hodzic. Let me say that both Dr. Hodzic and Amy are both wonderful. They are kind and caring and have sound clinical judgment BUT it’s impossible to get seen. In the past six months, I have been sent to urgent care at least three times because there weren’t any same day sick appointments (and may I add, I was calling at 8AM and they were booked for the entire day!). What is the point of having a primary doctor if you can never see them?

My 1 year old was supposed to have her 15 month well visit on June 16 (it was scheduled after she was seen in March for her 12 month visit). That appointment got rescheduled due to the provider being on vacation. Our new appointment was July 3. Then 45 minutes before our appointment, I got a call that my appointment needed to be rescheduled because the provider would be out of the office. I was told the next available appointment was OCTOBER 18th. After sending a message to the nurse, they were able to schedule our appointment for July 19th. We were seen yesterday and when we left, I was told to reschedule an appointment for in 3 months and well, you guessed it, their next available appointment was in 4 1/2 months. How ridiculous?! I have left two messages (once on July 3 and once again on July 19) for the site manager to return my call so we can discuss these matters but I have yet to her from her.

Very rude when you call to try to leave a message for a doctor.

Went in last night because our 7 day old daughter scared us, and we are new parents.

Usually do not like aurora because of previous treatment, but it was the closest hospital so we went to the E.D.

The admission nurse was very nice, same with the phlebotomy, but we felt blown off, saw the doctor for 2 mins before he got a phone call and had to leave. Then we went through tons of unnecessary testing, and taking lots of blood from our daughter, who had already had blood taken twice this week from our regular pediatrician. They didn't get enough blood, so they wanted to come in again, that is the point where we put our foot down and told them no.

After all this testing, and her perking up and acting more normal, they decided they wanted to transfer her to children's hospital via ambulance.

Most of the appointment was talking to the financial lady about billing, and insurance.

At this point we became frustrated, and decided she was well enough to take her to our usual hospital for a second opinion. They made us sign off on a refusal to treat against medical advice, and then guilted us basically saying if we leave our daughter could be dead in the morning. We also heard them gossiping about us outside of the room.

We ended up taking her to Pro Health, and after being monitored they decided that she was fine, and even agreed with us that there was an overreac tion and Auroras part. The doctor over there was confused why they took blood from her at all, let alone 3 times.

Our baby is just fine this morning as well, and next time there is an emergancy, we will be going straight to Pro Health instead. Poor practice here, and they don't listen to their patients. Would not recommend.
