I first went in 1975 at age 13 with my brother. I had so much fun! We climbed Mt Yale that summer! Wow! That was tough, but with God's help I made it up! We camped on the saddle and the next morning those that wanted went on to the summit. I was pretty tired, so I opted not to go up. I went back 2 years later, and then twice the summer of 1980 (the year I graduated).

I wish my sons could have gone, but it never worked out.

Those trips were the best of my life!

We experienced this wonderful camp 4 years ago as a family, now our twins are old enough to attend youth camp. We're so grateful for the generosity and assistance that allows our kids to experience spiritual growth, create memories and form lasting bonds.

My two kids who are middle school age had such a good time last Summer for one week, that they are going for two weeks next Summer. This Summer camp is physically appropriate for all kids and more importantly spiritually appropriate for my kids! We love it.

Goodness, I know I had fun. Didn't know they were still going until a meme about a mountain I had climbed while I was there popped up and brought back memories. Happy to see it's still going, and may send my own children.

This camp was the most amazing place, I have memories forever. I still talk about my experiences and still have pictures from back then(mid '80s) I went to Skyvalley, and Round-up. I cant even describe my times there it was so much fun, worst part was having to leave.

I'd goive this place a good 5 stars if only I hadn't have had a misfortunate experience there in the last of the 3 week session there in June - July of 1967. I mer cilessly twisted my ankle while trying to climb Mt. Princeton. I couldn't even stand up by the end of the session and had to be driven back to my home in Dallas TX. It took me until the end of that year for a full recovery!

My children look forward to their 2 weeks at A/U every year. Their connection to counselors, fellow campers and God is amazing.

For me, this was a gateway to rock climbing, mountaineering, whitewater rafting, horseback riding and spiritual growth. It is a place to appreciate the majesty of God's creation.
