Last month we took the 1.5 hour ride in Ouray with our friends who were in town, and we had a fabulous time! Evelyn, Avery, and the rest of the crew did a great job explaining how things would go and making us feel comfortable the entire ride. The horses were so sweet and the views were beautiful. Highly recommend if you're in the area!

Such a great experience doing the 1 hour trail ride at Baker Ranch! Less than a 40 minute drive in from Telluride and it was well worth it! Our guide was really great and the horses were amazing. We will be back!

This was money well spent!! Justin was welcoming, gracious, informative, and took some great pictures for us. We tried to take in all the amazing views, but that was a tall order. We definitely recommend and will likely return on our next visit to the area. Thanks for the great memories!

I am the worst at remembering to write reviews, but I mentally noted I HAD to write a review for my trip with friends in April 2023. Our guides were Paul and Lucas, I remember even after 8 months because they were the best!! I have been on at least 5 horse rides before, we always stay in a line and never control the horse.

This was a totally different experience, we were given the freedom to roam within eyesight, trot, and I actually left feeling like I was a horse rider who knew a little about steering and riding a horse. My friends said it was the best experience they had too, from this we’ve decided to take a week long horse back riding adventure one day, it was that amazing. Thank you so much Paul and Lucas for being the best guides, teaching us how to actually be horse riders, taking great pictures, and being funny and just generally amazing. We definitely want to come back and ride with you 2 again!

Ask for Maddy! She was a great guide, and funny and witty, and lovable! The views were amazing. We highly recommend this experience. Maddy even took us down there by the waterfalls! Of all the horseback trail rides that we've ever taken, this was definitely the best we've ever had. That had to have been the highlight of our whole trip to Colorado!

We were treated so well during the "Maverick" ride at Baker Ranch that we did for our daughter's 12th birthday. I had some concerns about the ride the morning of and made a phone call at 7:30am. I was surprised they actually answered the phone and addressed my questions. We arrived early to Baker Ranch and they were ready for us. I'm pretty sure we started the ride early. Paul was a great group leader; very personable, funny, knowledgeable, gave good instructions before the ride, checked in on the birthday girl often, and took a family picture for us with the mountains in the background. He helped my daughter trot with her horse for the first time, which was the highlight of our entire trip for her. The fun of this ride is there is room to move around with your horse, if desired. I felt like they gave us extra time on the ride and didn't rush us out of their space when it was over so I could get a few more pictures. They gave my kids something memorable as a gift as we were leaving. To sum it up, they went above and beyond what I expected and really made us feel like they wanted us to be there, not just another group coming through to get it over with. Thank you Paul, Jase, Justin, and the rest of the crew for the amazing memories! God bless you all!
