Great little local mining history museum. Free but accepts donations. Picnic tables, great playpark, old mining equipment, and a few buildings with site history artifacts. The kids loved this stop!

A wonderful stop that has a fantastic self guided walking tour with lots of history. The whole place is impressively maintained by volunteers, so we were more than happy to put a donation in the box to help support them.

We just finished a trip to Fairbanks and back stopping at historical places and museums. This was my favourite! There is so much history and information here that was a complete surprise to me! I won't give anything away but this place is definitely worth stopping to see! I liked the post office/chicken coop! Such a cool park!

This is a great little park you might drive past - don’t! There are all sorts of local history artifacts gathered for free along with a playground. It used to be part of a mine so there is equipment, but also numerous historical buildings moved to the site and reconstructed Native American and early Anglo settler dwellings. Appears to be a labor of love by the community. It’s free and there are bathrooms! A great spot, well done.

Wonderful gem. We were just stopping by for a bathroom run, but found a great playground for our grandson, and beautiful setting with historical buildings and good information explaining the history of the area.

A great place to stop and stretch. This outdoor attraction is free, but if you enjoy reading about history, wander the exhibits and leave a donation. They do a great job of keeping this place up.
