Our Aurora Tour with Alaska Wildlife Guide was absolutely phenomenal, and Jody, our guide, made the experience even more unforgettable! From the moment we were picked up, Jody's enthusiasm and deep knowledge of the Alaska, Dog Mushing and geography and the Northern Lights was evident. She ensured that everyone in the group was comfortable and well-prepared for the chilly night ahead.

Jody's expertise on the auroras was impressive. She explained the science behind the lights in a way that was easy to understand, yet fascinating. She knew just the right spots away from light pollution, giving us an unobstructed view of the magical display. Her patience and willingness to answer questions, coupled with her friendliness, made the entire experience enjoyable.

The auroras themselves were beyond words. We were lucky enough to witness vibrant shades of green dancing across the sky, with moments of purples and reds. Jody's photography tips were invaluable, helping us capture incredible pictures of the lights.

Jody made sure we stayed warm and comfortable throughout the evening. The overall organization of the tour was seamless, from transportation to the knowledge shared.

If you're planning to witness the Northern Lights in Alaska, I highly recommend the Aurora Tour with Alaska Wildlife Guide, and especially with Jody as your guide. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime experience that you won’t want to miss!

The Arctic Circle tour is everything as advertised! They pick you up from your hotel and head north to visit the pipeline, the Yukon River, Finger Mountain and finally the Arctic Circle!

You stop for lunch along the way and they have water and snacks in the van. Our guide Gavin is very knowledgeable and an excellent driver.

We saw a moose 30 minutes into our tour! This is the best and safest way to travel to Dalton Highway to get to the Arctic Circle. I do not recommend trying to do it in a rental car!!

We did the Northern Lights and Arctic Circle Tour on Sep 4th, 2024. Gavin was our driver and tour guide. He was very knowledgeable about history of the trans-Alaska Pipeline and the Dalton Highway. The trip took 14 hrs with several stops to have meal and toilets. Gavin drove the van safely all the way to the Arctic Circle and back on the rough bumpy road. And we could take some pictures of not very clear Northern Lights because of the cloudy sky on the way back to Fairbanks. Overall, this is an adventure you should take at least once in your life as long as you don’t have back/buttock problems and to get your Crossed the Arctic Circle in the land of the midnight sun Certificate.

Our tour guide Jean was amazing! She was full of helpful information as we traveled to the resort. She knew the area very well, as well as information about nature and Alaska. The ice museum, dinner, and hot springs were wonderful. Our entire group headed back early to the final meeting, so she tried to help us find a cloud free spot on the way back to town to see the lights. I highly recommend!

Great tour with a great guide, Gavin. He was very knowledgeable about everything there was to know on the tour. Recommend doing a tour if this is your first time in Fairbanks and first time looking for Northern Lights. Our guide went above and beyond to get us amazing views despite our group being very discouraged by the weather at first. We had an amazing time!

Unfortunately, we didn’t see any Northern Lights on this tour, making it our second unsuccessful attempt. When comparing this tour to our previous one, the price differences became quite clear. One of the main issues we faced was the lack of communication from our tour guide; it was so cloudy that we were unsure if the tour was still happening, we understand that they don't cancel tours because Fairbanks weather can change so quickly but being communicated with the day of tour or confirming a pick up would have put us at ease and a little less stressful while we wait to be picked up.

Once we arrived at Murphy Dome, we sat in the van, hoping the clouds would clear. However, it was extremely cold (it was snowing!) and very windy, so keep that in mind when booking this tour during the winter season and dress accordingly! (like wear snow pants or two pair of pants!). While our guide was knowledgeable about Alaska and the Northern Lights, I would have loved to learn more about the science behind them.

Additionally, just a tip for those reading this review --> if you're hard of hearing or prone to motion sickness, be sure to sit in the front, as the ride was very bumpy!

Overall, while the experience had its challenges, I appreciated the effort, and it reminded us that Mother Nature can be unpredictable.

My husband and I had an hour tour with Frozen Tony. We had a lot of fun! He would have us stop every once in a while and take photos of all of us and actually took the time to make sure they were actually good photos. He also took a video of us.

Our group was small, a total of 5 and 3 riders (myself and someone else were passengers). We've been snowmobiling in Alaska before, and I feel like this tour wasn't like your cookie cutter tour of down a straight path then play around on the frozen lake.

All in all lots of fun, definitely recommend and recommend Frozen Tony ? all pics posted were taken by Tony.
