Using AK River Tours for fishing is a must. Tyson knew the River very well. He has great people skills and makes sure you have fun. He wants you to catch fish, lots of fish. He allowed my son to stir the raft. When we come out again, we will definitely use them again. The other two guys, sorry forgot their names, were very nice as well.

Alaska Fishing and Raft Adventures is worth every penny. Our guide Tyson was not only knowledgeable of the river and the current fishing conditions, he was also very personable. If you goal is to just catch fish, book with AF&RA. If your goal is to catch fish and get a scenic experience of the Alaskan interior, book with AF&RA. We booked an 8 hour float and fish trip that yielded multiple good memories and fish catches that will have us counting down the days until next year when we book with them again.

What an amazing time I had on the river fishing!! Look no farther then this group to take you fishing in Fairbanks. From a Half day to full day, spin or fly fishing they have you covered. You don’t have to have any experience like me either! They will help you every step of the way. Plus you will have a blast. The float down river is so beautiful it out of a picture book. You will stop along the way so you can get out and wade in the water to fish. The was a lot of fun. We all caught fish and took pictures and released them. Which I liked. Our guide Trent was so kind and patient with me/us. Haha I got a lot of trees. ‍♀️. But he said that was all part of the fun. And fun I had. So make sure you book with them for your fishing trip! You are going to have the best time.

We had an amazing greyling fishing tour with Tyson today. He was extremely knowledgeable and patient explaining how to use the equipment, and he took us to some incredible views during the tour. We had a blast and would go again in a heartbeat! Ask for Tyson and you will have an unforgettable trip!

Trenton is an outstanding fishing guide. We had a great float down the Chena. Great, colorful palm-size rocks to collect along sand banks where we stopped. Beautiful scenery. Moose calling. Bear tracks seen. A fun day. Would do it again. Strongly recommend.

Greg took us on an amazing Pike Fishing adventure at Minto Lake. I'll bet we caught 100. It was crazy catching them almost every cast. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
