Just returned from a week long vacation with a big group of family at the Catfish Cabins (we rented all three cabins for our group). For the most part, the cabins were fine and met our needs. The grounds by the lake gave us plenty of space to hang out and the kids to run around. We were a little disappointed to see that the raft was out of the water. We met what we assume is the owner's son twice as he came to go on his boat with his friends; he told us it was broken right now and we asked if he could at least get it out of the way of the beach for the kids and he said yes, but never did. On the 3rd or 2nd to last day, the dishwasher in the big house broke and leaked all over the kitchen floor and to the downstairs bathroom. One of us emailed the property manager and then called the next day and she never responded. Additionally, some of the bedrooms were pretty tiny, though we made do. And some things were broken, including a kitchen table chair in the 2 bedroom cabin. My son sat down on it and it almost collapsed beneath him. One of the biggest disappointments was that the 2 bedroom cottage smelled like smoke inside; not like someone had just smoked in there the week prior but as if it had been smoked in for a long time and was "in the walls" so to speak.
Overall, it met our needs for the week and didn't necessarily change our overall experience but those were some of the things that stood out to us.

I held my wedding at the Catfish Resort. Mark and Cassandra were ultra-helpful and made sure the day went off beautifully! They both were excellent to work with, extremely accommodating, and helped make the big day wonderful! Highly recommend their rental properties. Every cabin was very clean, they offer tons of amenities to take advantage of as far as outdoor recreation goes, and it doesn't get much prettier than watching those brilliant sunsets over the lake!

These Catfish Cabins are the perfect catch! Clean, comfortable and cozy in a great location! My family loves the time time we spend on the lake up north enjoying outdoor sports and fantastic fishing spots in both winter and summer. Already looking forward to our next visit!

Stayed here several times over the years! Beautiful views of the lake, cozy fireplace, and close to bars/dining. The water activities are awesome. They have a boat, paddleboards, and canoe for guests to use. Super clean and comfortable.

Amazing family resort, owners are extremely helpful and attentive. Very clean and they literally have everything! Boats, Stand up Paddle boards, Kayaks, sand beach, the list goes on and on! Super fun place to eat within walking distance! 5 stars, would definitely stay again!

Stayed here for Niece's wedding on site. Plenty of room for family and friends. Swim, fish, kayak right there. Very nice! Enjoyed our stay.

We love to come up to the Northwoods and this place doesn't disappoint. Hits all the marks for us because it's nice and convenient to rent and have a boat and cabin in one shot. We will definitely be back.
