This is my 50th state to ride horses in. And the views are in the top 5 most stunning scenery I've ever ridden in. Forest, mountains. Water crossings. It had it all.

We did the 3 hour tour and our guide was great. She took a ton of pics of us which was wonderful.

You do have to be able to mount without a block and my pretty lady was TALL. But worth the struggle to get on. 10/10 recommend.

Suggestions if you go- it's very muddy. So take shoes you don't love. I recommend boots if possible. You also go to the bathroom in a literal outhouse. ?

My only suggestion would be to have some kind of gift shop. I was really hoping for a t-shirt.

Elise was a great guide. The horses were great; it was very relaxed and perfect for the intermediate to advanced rider. If you’ve never been on a horse, you’ll have to learn quickly and be comfortable, or possibly struggle a bit. Just know what you’re getting into when you’re riding a horse in Alaska. Beautiful views the whole way!

This was a last minute adventure we decided to book and we were not disappointed! The horses were amazing and our guide was even better. She was so personable. We did the 3 hr trail ride and the views were beautiful. Best and last, we are taking home a kitten from the barn!! 10 out of 10 for this experience! I would highly recommend!

My friend and I did the 1.5 hour tour. It was a great experience, definitely worth it for the views and overall experience especially if new at horseback riding. Wear comfortable shoes (sneakers/boots) and long pants (jeans), you will get wet when going through the creek/water/mud. They do give you instructions on how to control the horse, you do need to get on the horse by yourself which can be difficult for some. Would definitely go again and for the longer adventures.

We had such a wonderful ride with Josh. It was a beautiful sunny day and Josh made sure all of us felt comfortable and got to enjoy the experience! He made sure we saw the Knik glacier and knew the names of the peaks in the area!

Elyse was awesome! She took us on a beautiful path through the Knick river and it was truly magical. I highly recommend the experience during your time in Alaska. It’s something I will never forget.
Warning: Please be adviced, if you are not comfortable on a horse do not take this tour. These horses are not Circus animals and can be unpredictable. Always wear your helmet!

DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!! ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING I WAS EXCEPTING!! I have been following you guys for over a year and have been wanting to come ride so badly. It turned out so amazing and everyone was so nice and accommodating when we changed from a 1.5hrs to a 3 hrs private ride when we showed up. Definitely recommend a private ride, it’s more personal. Was so pretty and was so fun just riding through the trees and along the river!!
