We have a great experience in seeing the Northern Lights with Arctic Night Tours. Elena and Ed are knowledgeable about the science behind the northern lights. They know all the best spots to take us to give us the best chance to view them with nice scenic background for photo opportunities. They are great photographers, setup multiple cameras and take tons of photos for all of us and shared the link for us to download in 2 days after the tour. These are all included in the very reasonable price of the tour. If you are going to Fairbanks to look for Northern Lights, look no further. Arctic Night Tours is your best option.

Ed and Elena were great tour guides! They took us north of Fairbanks to a secluded location (and very dark) to ensure our best opportunity to see the Aurora. We were not disappointed!! The clouds cleared away and the light show began. Absolutely stunning!! This trip earned the top spot of our Alaskan adventure. They also provided snacks & drinks and a delicious dessert at the end. Outstanding!! Can’t wait to see the photos they took of us!! Thank you again for an incredible experience.

If there is an Aurora to be seen, Ed and Elena will find it!! It was cloudy in Fairbanks on the early Sept. night of our tour. Ed met us at our hotel. Ed told us we would need to drive 2-3 hours to find good viewing and offered a full refund if we choose not to go. We of course went and didn’t regret it. Ed and Elena truly have a passion for what they do and go the extra mile to ensure the best experience in viewing and taking photos of the Aurora.

We had such an amazing night with them! We drove 2 hours to get to viewing point but it was worth it and the cars were pretty comfy! Since they have relatively small group you can have multiple pictures taken with their camera. It's a good thing especially if you don't have a professional camera with you. The guides were so friendly and to be honest they were more excited than us most of the time. I highly recommend their service!

I can't recommend Arctic Nighty Tours enough! We only had one day in Alaska and a flight at 7 AM, meaning we had to be at the airport around 5-6 AM. It felt like a huge risk to book the northern lights tour with such a tight schedule, but Arctic Nighty Tours went above and beyond to accommodate us. They truly made me feel like they were doing everything in their power to give us the best experience possible, not just saying it.

The guides were incredibly kind and encouraging, and even though we had started to lose hope, we were lucky enough to see the northern lights around 2 AM! They took beautiful pictures of us and made sure we captured more memories, knowing we didn’t have the luxury of staying longer like other visitors. I was so happy my family and I got to see the lights, thanks to their patience and effort. Highly recommend this tour—such sweet and thoughtful people!

Ed and Elena were incredible tour guides/hosts. Very open communication, hospitable, and welcoming. They drove us ~3 hours southeast of Fairbanks to find a spot with a clear night sky, and that’s when we saw the Northern Lights. We saw a startling aurora show with high activity for approx. 3 hours, and they took some amazing photos with their professional camera and equipment. Can’t thank y’all enough for helping me experience this Bucket List item!

Ed and Elena are amazing tour guides! They are very hospitable, welcoming, and considerate. The pickup was smooth, and the communication was clear and timely. We drove a couple of hours northeast of Fairbanks and got to see some splendid colors, a mind-blowing auroral substorm expansion, as well as some shooting stars from the Orionids meteor shower. Elena also offered us snacks, water, and hand warmers to ensure we stayed warm. Ed and Elena are very knowledgeable and know exactly where to spot the Northern Lights. They are also extremely patient and enthusiastic, and captured memorable, high-quality pictures of our group with the aurora. Finally, Elena dropped us off and was even kind enough to provide breakfast for our group. Truly one of the best nighttime experiences for all of us. 100% recommend it!
