The staff first of all are really nice. The area is relatively safe. The room was great. I was travelling alone so the room was really big for me. The bed was comfortable. Overall, the room and shower were clean. Breakfast was good. Room had a microwave, fridge, coffee maker. The only downside was the TV cant be connected to a smart phone to access Youtube or netflix.

I stay at this property a few times a year and the staff has always been great. I stay at many different brands hotels/ properties and the value is great. Clean, comfortable beds and rooms to the breakfast in the morning. Many hotels do not offer breakfast, and it is very much appreciated it on the road.

The property is very close to Oakland International Airport. My room was simply beautiful and comfy. WiFi was very good to use. The staff was responsive to my needs. I will choose this property in the future. The hotel is very close to my mom's home and I felt well taken care of by the staff.

The check in clerk sat down the whole time at after hours while she checked us all in. Never acknowledged my reward status. I had to remind her and ask for drinks. They don’t do snack bags for their Diamond rewards members. Didn’t see my request for higher floor Bad views. The breakfast lady Maria was excellent and helpful.

Everything was great during my stay — the room was clean, the staff were friendly, and the overall experience was excellent.
If I could make one suggestion, it would be to start breakfast a bit earlier, perhaps from 6 a.m., as it would be more convenient for early travelers.

As I have come to expect, the room was clean and modern. My criticisms are:
● TV did not work
● Loud noise began around 0600 outside my window (construction?), and continued through checkout.
H.I. expresses, with the included breakfast, are a good value. Overall, I was happy with my room, besides my two complaints.

The staff were so great, they really made the check in and check out easy. Loved the room, it was super clean and well furnished. Bed was comfortable. Excellent value.

The Holiday Inn Express is our go-to hotel when we are in the Oakland area to care for our granddaughter. There are many choices but this property is a cut above. We are welcomed at the front desk and greeted as though the entire staff has waited for our arrival! The room are extremely comfortable with every amenity (including USB ports) that any person would desire or need. This property will continue to be our go-to property.
