"We embarked on a thrilling Helicopter tour combined with a Colorado river boat tour at West Rim, which provided an incredible experience. While the helicopter ride was a bit nerve-wracking, it turned out to be fantastic. The river tour transported us to a completely different world, offering a tranquil and serene atmosphere."

I thought everything was wonderful! Of course, it was my 81st birthday and the helicopter ride over the Grand Canyon was great. Then I just had to take the ground tour of the South Rim in the Pink Jeep. After that was the IMAX movie of the Grand Canyon. What more could I ask for. Well, the best tasting and best cooked steak ever at the STEAK E House. Great Sunday birthday on 23 June 2024.

Really great experience so much to do before you even get to the canyon. When you get there and you have kids go to the family visitor center there are cool souvenirs and you can get the kids sighned up to be Jr. Rangers and pick up badges at any or all National Parks. The Canyon was truly an amazing site and you can take different busses for free to see other sites while you are there. Also if you have a family member with a disability you can get in for free and that member can receive a card to get in free for life to all National Parks.

Update: came back and was lucky enough to catch the sunrise and snow on the ground! I This place is beautiful regardless of the time of year. Original post: The views are amazing and a great way to spend quality time outside with family. I would recommend blocking out a whole day, 2 if you are coming from far away and want to hike. We had dogs with us so we were limited on what trails we could do but even the kids were impressed! Will be going back without dogs to do trails below the rim and see more areas. Words can't describe how big this is!!
