I would give this 0 stars if I could. We booked the hose tower for my baby shower and received the confirmation payment email along with filling out all the necessary paperwork. Fast forward a few weeks we called the village to confirm the event. We were notified the village received payment but didn’t pass the information along to the lady who manages the hose tower and they double booked the event. We are now without a venue last minute!!! DO NOT BOOK

My family rented this space for a birthday party. We had about 60 people but there was plenty of room for more. There were 4 long rectangle tables we used for food and 9 round tables for guests which was a nice set up to keep everyone visiting with each other. We used the projector for a slideshow and it was easy to plug in the laptop with just an hdmi cord. Everything needed for clean up was provided like garbage bags and the door automatically unlocks and locks depending on your scheduled party time. There is one wall of orange brick that looks really cute with the orange and grey chairs. Bathrooms have multiple stalls and were decent. There is a small patio area outside but they ask that the large garage door stay closed for parties.

And the hose tower strikes again with double booking… my friend booked this place for my nephews birthday party. She got confirmation that it was booked and put her deposit down and now they told her the venue was double booked and that she would not be receiving her money back. DO NOT BOOK A RESERVATION HERE.

DO NOT BOOK HERE!!!
i would give zero stars if possible. We booked this place out months in advance. we called to confirm our reservation 2 days before as an extra confirmation. The lady we spoke to over the phone was rude and told us she had booked someone else here instead for the same hours. We have all of our confirmation documents and proof of payments but still we’re told we couldn’t have our baby shower here. They did not offer us a refund for our deposit even though it was their fault. save yourself some stress and book elsewhere!!

Walked in a little before 11 on a Sunday for brunch. Sat at the bar. 3 workers were trying to figure out an espresso machine. Over 5 minutes passed and not a single person acknowledged our presence. All I needed was fir someone to say they would be with us in a minute. The 2 cooks in the kitchen had long hair pulled back in a messy ponytail and no hairnets.

Here's a preserved historical remnant of what has made this WPA project so successful. This newly renovated(quite accurately remodeled) structure captures the style, age, and advanced planning skills of known architects and experienced craftspeoples of the era - a rather difficult time period, to be sure.
The everyday use of this place memorializes the many souls that invested their time, livelihoods, and innovation ideas that added hope and focus to a wandering generation. The 30s were not for the faint of heart- survivors all- many more than just here.
