This place is dark and overrated. I got lobster tail which was huge and flavorless. I wouldn't have been able to eat it without butter. You'd be better off going to Red Lobster and getting 2 lobster tails for less money and more flavor where you can get steamed or grilled and they are both delicious. The spinach was more of the same, flavorless and it was advertised as garlic spinach. If they had more light they may not have handed me greasy menus. If I'm paying top dollar for a meal I don't want to order it from a greasy menu like some dive diner. We were started with 2 half dollar sized rolls and packaged breadsticks and crackers. I really expected more out of such a pricey restaurant and I don't mean just quantity, how about better quality from start to finish. My husband got a beautiful, large flavorless steak. Save your money, go to Outback or Texas Roadhouse for some steak with flavor. I really expected to be WOWED by this place as a Bartolotta restaurant as I've had an amazing dinner at Mr.B's. These restaurants weren't even comparable.

We have been dining here since it first opened. They have gone so far downhill it’s not even funny. The first red flag was having to put a $50 nonrefundable deposit down just to make a reservation, what a way to treat customers. Started out with sitting at the bar and overhearing a waitress complaining about being triple sat. We were excited for their special only to find out it was $110 for a 24oz strip steak, 2 scallops and 2 shrimp - what! Just a couple of years ago they had tomahawk as a special and it was divine! Whoever is managing this place is doing a terrible job. When our reservation was up, they sat us in their overflow room (the former BBQ restaurant which closed), which was the equivalent of a garage or wedding hall. No music. Echoey. Terrible ambiance. Not Joey Gerard’s material. We complained and they sat us in the actual dining room. We loved our server, she was so great. Next, we ordered Filets. I have NEVER had a fattier “Mignon” in my life. Neither has my husband. These were clearly cheap cuts of tenderloin, not the Mignon that they used to source. We’ve had their Mignon before and it has always been amazing up until now. What a shame, it’s just getting worse and worse. We will never be back, Packing House will be our go-to now. You lost very loyal customers. What a terrible experience and all for so MUCH more money too. Rediculous.

We decided to visit Joey Gerard’s for a parents night out. While the experience was good overall, it didn’t quite live up to the hype for me

The atmosphere was cozy and had that classic supper club charm, which was nice, and the staff were friendly and attentive.

As for the food, it was good but not exceptional. The flavors were enjoyable, and the portions were generous, but there wasn’t anything that truly stood out or made it feel special for the price point. I was expecting a more elevated experience given the cost, but the dishes didn’t quite justify the higher price tag.

Overall, it was a pleasant evening, and I wouldn’t say I wouldn’t return, but it’s not a place I’d rush back to. If you’re looking for a classic supper club vibe, it’s worth checking out, but I’d recommend adjusting expectations when it comes to the value for money.

To be brutally honest, there are so many other better restaurants. Food is good, don’t get me wrong, but way overpriced for what it is. Recipes aren’t overly creative so I didn’t personally find it worth the price, but steaks were well cooked. I don’t think I’d ever come here if I didn’t have a gift card or Bartolotta rewards. The service was incredible, our waiter was so sociable and helpful. Came here with my husband for our anniversary and got a delicious merengue dessert on the house. Ambience is fine, it is 2000s middle-class fancy chain level — it was well taken care of at least so it is a respectable establishment.

First time patron, pleasantly pleased.
Relish tray with Fennel, delicious and unexpected!
Ceasars salad, a bit bland.
Prime rib, with Horseradish sauce and. Auj.ju, wonderful!
Filet, with glazed carrots, scrumptious.
Red potatoes tasted a "bit musty" with a peppercorn sauce that had a peculiar, aftertaste.
Creme brulle was wonderful!
All in all, we'd be back!

Most people liked the food. I personally thought a medium rare steak was more medium. The spinach was way too salty. The brussels sprouts were very mushy.

A nice supper club experience, and prices are reasonable compared to other restaurants. My prime rib was awesome. The shrimp cocktail was very nice. Drinks made well. The only issue was my wife had Chilean sea bass and she thought it was a little undercooked. The Brussels sprouts could use the core on the bottom trimmed off slightly more than they were. They can be a little too hard if not.
Only a minor issue. Won't ever stop us from coming back.

Our waiter (I forget his name) was absolutely hilarious and had us laughing the entire time. The food.... My god it was delicious. My steak was perfectly cooked, the seafood platter was tasty, and the cheese curds were absolutely delicious. Just all around 10/10 taste with everything. It was definitely a pricey dinner but we knew that going in. Highly recommend!
