It was quiet on a Saturday afternoon and a good time to bring the kids. The pulled chicken was dry, pulled pork was juicy, and the brisket was tender and fatty in a good way. The kid's chicken tenders were fantastic, but the amount of fries was small for my daughter.

The BBQ sauces seemed very similar: regular and spicy. I would have liked something funky or fun to try on the meat. The cornbread muffin had a unique fluffiness to it that I liked.

Nice atmosphere and the service was fast and polite food was ok.. Would I go back probably not I tried the burger with pulled pork on it, it was cooked the way i wanted it but wasn't what i was expecting .The wife got the half of a smoked chicken. I tried her chicken wasn't impressed hard for me being that I've smoked meats for 20 plus years. The shrimp appetizer was probably the best thing we ate.

Ask locals where to eat... They won't let you down. Amazing smoked wings with the Cajun dry rub, smoked brisket Mac and cheese and of course local beer. This was a IPA but I can't remember the name of it. Definitely go eat here you won't be disappointed. The bartender Fiona was amazing.

Food was terrific! Cheese curds were delicious. Definitely need to get an order of these. Service was great, and the atmosphere was nicely decorated for Christmas.

Would recommend to any bbq/smoke house fan.

The food had good smoke flavor but both BBQ dinners we got, the meat was either barely warm or even cold to the touch. It's too bad because it would have been great food. I did get sick later on and the next day but can't say for sure if it was from the meat that wasn't brought up to temperature or not. It was too loud for easy conversation for us but some might like that bar type noise level. The coleslaw was great tasting but it had a slimy texture to the sauce. I guess it's possible that is what made me sick too but again I have no real evidence of that. The beans were flavorful and good but the beer flavor was too strong for me.
Also, all of their tap beer lines were down which is what drew me to this place to begin with. The mixed drink I got was too watery with all the ice in it.
I'm not sure if I'll be back unless some family or friends invite me there specifically.

Was really looking forward to this stop and I don't like leaving bad reviews, but thought I should with this one. Menu selection looked great. Food was sub par at best. Burger was hard packed and over cooked. Couldn't be saved. by the BBQ sauce. Coleslaw was diced and had so much of the cabbage core and onions it was barley palatable. Couldn't finish it. I actually spilled my full drink, waitress didn't even know. If it wasn't for the good people sitting close by throwing napkins, it would have been a disaster. Spoke to a friend about my experience, he had the same review. Looks good, very sub par. Will not be going back. Spend your hard earned money somewhere else.

Loved it. Ordered the 3 meat sampler. The overall flavor was excellent and the price was very fair given the portions. The BBQ sauces were also all amazing. They serve their pulled meat plain so you can add your own sauce; the meat alone is not very flavorful, you’ll need that BBQ. Brisket was great with just some salt.

The service was outstanding! Very friendly and attentive staff.

The one thing we found was different was that they serve their cornbread cold so it doesn’t dry out, but ironically because it was cold it felt dry. It was a super easy fix thought, the server was very nice and brought us additional, warm cornbread and it was fluffy and delicious! So if you like your cornbread warm and soft, just ask for it when ordering.
Would drive the 45min from Madison again to come here.
