Decent food. The daily menu is misleading sometimes and the eggs are almost always burnt. Other than that, pretty solid, good variety

Skip the pizza shop, campus eats done right. We like the choice. Made to order, salad bar, ice cream, fruit, great value at $15 a person, even if you are not a student. You will want to get one more degree.

I’m appalled by how terrible the dining hall at Holloway Commons is run. Today I waited 24 minutes in a line of 10 people for stir fry, when there were SIX WORKERS behind the grill just chatting and hanging out. I’ve seen it run much more efficient with just 2-3 workers; on top of that, my food was cold. Nothing is ever restocked and I see workers on their phones constantly, walking around and doing nothing. That really says something about the leadership you have here. I don’t blame the workers getting paid $12/hr with no direction of what to do. If the food is gonna be consistently bad, I won’t be getting any more meal plans from here. Not one fork was stocked in the building and had to eat my stir fry with a spoon. It’s appalling how this place continues to be allowed to even serve food. I even saw one of the stir fry workers picking at his nose while on the grill, and another flipping off their friend, as well as another with their head under the protective glass that is supposed to stop spit/germs from going on the grill. Just overall low quality food and terrible workers. No true leadership here which is why the place has gotten worse throughout the years.

Dining hall food quality has gone down significantly this year. The omelette bar, salad bar, and stir fry has had more limited hours or not been open at all. Several students have reported stomach aches and other health issues. The dining hall seems to blame the issues on staffing problem, but refuses to make changes in advertising, management or wages. On campus students are required to buy an unlimited swipes meal plan, which is $2,431/semester. I feel cheated and like I've wasted my money.

Edit: since posting this review, I have been served raw shrimp and have seen other students given salad with bugs, moldy bread and other expired food

Straight terrible. Do not come here, don’t bring your family, don’t bring your friends, you do not want to eat here. All day Sunday breakfast is advertised as a luxury when in reality nobody wants cold French toast sticks and artificial syrup at 3pm. This dining hall has gotten substantially worse in the past 2 years and it shows hard. Even bread selection to make your own sandwich is trash. Workers are always standing around doing apparently nothing and you wonder why when they pay $12 an hour and then complain about staffing issues. Employees can easily find higher pay in surrounding businesses and even other on-campus jobs. Many days out of the week there will be empty tubs of cream cheese, Nutella, ect and the only thing to eat is a cold and protein deprived sandwich. If you manage to catch hoco for 1 day out of the month where the food is alright, then prepare to wait 30+ minuets for food that is still mid by normal standards. Unh housing/dining is a scam.

Probably the most consistently worst dining experience I’ve ever had. I just ate a turkey slice that tasted like literal soap. Like I took a bar of soap out of my pocket and ate it, but replace that soap with this slice of turkey. Some days are ok, but it’s the fact that sometimes all they serve to eat for an entire day is a 24/7 waffle bar and spaghetti that disturbs me. At least keep some chicken out or something.
