Stayed here for close proximity to Manchester airport, Hilton rewards and for that the price was fair. The front desk attendant was pleasant and prompt. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable, however everything was shoddy work. The ‘barn door’ for the bathroom wouldn’t close more than halfway, leaving you no privacy. The toilet water supply wasn’t functional, so after one flush we were SOL. The multicolored toilet itself was cracked. Will not stay again.

Looks and smells clean as soon as you walk in! That’s most important for me which is why I am rating it so high.

However the beds are uncomfortable, and the staff isn’t very helpful (and usually aren’t even behind the desk). The elevators were also sketchy and were over due for an inspection.

But the breakfast was good, and the rooms and lobby were clean. Being near Manchester, hotels are always a hit or miss (especially with sketchy clientele) so I definitely will recommend this hotel and will likely stay here next time I visit family.

I'm a resident of Bedford, and my family from overseas came to visit. I booked this hotel for my parents, and I couldn't be more upset by their complete lack of cleanliness, housekeeping, and basic care. When my parents arrived on Saturday evening, they were shocked to find that by Wednesday, no housekeeping had been done at all. To make matters worse, my mother discovered a used lacy thong hanging from the shower rod left by a previous guest. When she told me about both issues on Wednesday, I immediately called the hotel to report the underwear and the lack of housekeeping. I also mentioned that my father accidentally broke a glass, and even though he cleaned up as best he could, there were still shards next to his bedside table.

Their response was to assure me that housekeeping would come right away. Yet, when they returned that night, the beds were still unmade, the lacy thong was still hanging (my father had thrown it in the trash himself), and the glass remained on the carpet. Frustrated, I called again on Thursday, leaving a message for the manager to call me back. I never received a callback.

I don't expect luxury, but I do expect a clean room, basic housekeeping, no remnants of previous guests, and certainly not to step on broken glass. Is that too much to ask? I won't be recommending this place to anyone.

The room and bathroom were somewhat dirty, when we got in the hotel room the toilet was running and it was still full from the last person that had used it. The front desk attendant wasn't helpful at check in. The only good thing about this hotel is the continental breakfast which is set up good with a variety of breakfast items.

We usually pick Hampton Inns as they are always clean and the beds are super comfy. Although this place was clean, the beds were horrible! I guess not all Hampton Inns have the same bedding. They were super short on front desk staff, which I understand is tough to hire help these days. Also they were having a problem with the keys, alot of patrons had to get key cards redone on day 2, as they only worked for the 1st day. The room, King room, was decent sized, but no drawers at all to put clothes in, we just lived out of our suitcase. Bathroom was decent but old tub (big chip out of porcelain)and old short toilet that didn't like to flush. We stayed here for wedding.

Beware of bed bugs and no refund. I check for bed bugs immediately in every hotel room and found a bed bug in both rooms we were given. Both times I scooped a bed bug from the bed into a paper cup and took it to the front desk employee. The employee apologized and said they'd work with the GM in the morning to process a refund since we weren't going to be able to stay there. I asked if they wanted to take a picture and they said if I had pictures of the bed bugs then that should be enough documentation.||I've been emailing, calling, and leaving voicemails for the GM multiple times for 3 weeks and he has never emailed or called back. I did manage to reach him twice when I called in, 11 and 22 days after the reservation date. He claimed that someone checked for bed bugs later and didn't see bed bugs so they wouldn't be providing a refund. I said that we took both bed bugs to the front desk and the GM told me we didn't, which he's clearly lying about and they could verify that with their security footage. I also told him I took pictures of both of the bed bugs and he said no I didn't, which doesn't even make sense as a response.||He is completely gaslighting me and either just doesn't want to provide a refund or is concerned with costs and protocols for getting rid of bed bugs. It's frustrating to not have that refund approved and also to have to pay even more to get a last second room somewhere else, but the fact that he's ignoring the issue for future guests just adds to the frustration.

The halls had a definite odor but the room was clean. Average hotel with very nice front desk staff. Breakfast was good but the fresh fruit was old.

I stood there with my mom for three days at this hotel because I had a family gathering. Check in and out was very smoothly. I give Kody 100,000 stars for a job well done for explaining to us where the room was.

This hotel should change its policy for hotel rooms cleaning: Instead of every other day, IT SHOULD BE EVERY DAY TO BE CLEANED.

You should hire more African people (women) to clean the rooms and engineering should be experienced people.

The general manager is only there during the night and it makes me feel disrespected for the people that come and stay here. The general manager should be there from 9-5 instead of night.

When I've been to hotels across the USA and international, you have general managers working in the morning and afternoon to help out with any changes, policies and etc.

When you come to this hotel, there is no bellhop. You have to do self-service for your own luggages.
