The BVI exceeded all of our expectations! From the moment my husband and I met Madison and toured the Grand Charolais room at the BVI we knew this was where we going to get married. Madison from start to finish made the planning process as easy as could be, down to every last detail and my many emails. I cannot say enough about how she put me at such ease during the planning process that I knew our day would be nothing short of PERFECT, and it was! Our wedding was absolutely beautiful, and it was all because of the amazing staff at the BVI. Madison and her staff (Nicole- our day of coordinator and Gillian- our bridal attendant) ensured that no detail went unnoticed. From setting up our ceremony and reception décor exactly how I envisioned, to the amazing and food and endless care, attention, and support for us on our special day. I thank you all so much for making this day the most amazing day of our lives. Additionally, we utilized the spa services on site the day prior, stayed in the Bridal Suite for the weekend and had out rehearsal dinner in The Governor's Room of The Tavern Restaurant. The hotel, spa, restaurant and grounds are absolutely beautiful, we cannot be happier!!

We planned an event for 12 people at the restaurant and based on the feedback from our attendees, they thought the service, food and atmosphere was outstanding. The only one comment that I would make is that there are plenty of meal options if you are a carnivore, but not that many if you are vegetarian or vegan.

Overall, it was a wonderful experience and the wait staff, and the event coordinator were attentive and accomodating.

We got married in the Charolais Room at The Grand. This place is magical. We could not be happier with it as our wedding venue. It was beautiful. The hotel is gorgeous, our suite was incredible and the perfect place to get ready. The food was delicious and plenty of it. The staff are INCREDIBLE. Our coordinator, Olivia, is the best. She is kind, responsive, and helpful. She heard all of our asks and made them come to life. She has an amazing eye for decor and added lovely touches. She’s incredibly organized and we did not have to worry about a single thing with her as our coordinator. Gillian, our bridal attendant, was awesome. She always made sure we had everything we needed. She took care of us and we were never thirsty or hungry all night. Nicole was our day of coordinator, and met all of our needs. She was super helpful with managing in-the-moment tasks and taking care of us. It was truly the best day of our life and the venue/staff helped make the day even more special. Highly recommend this venue!

My husband and I just got married on New Years Eve (12/31/23) at the Bedford Village Inn. I truthfully have nothing but positive things to say about the entire experience. When we were initially looking for venues I was searching for places with raving reviews on the food - because that was something I realllllly cared about. I mean what is worse than paying all this money and then having shit food am I right? Bedford Village Inn was the only place that I could find with consistent glowing reviews not only about the food but the entire experience in general. So, when we booked our tour back in 2022 we knew immediately from the stunning views of the venue to our incredible experience with our wedding coordinator, Olivia, that this was where we had to get married. Olivia was a huge selling point for us as well. She was so kind, warm, and professional throughout our entire experience together. Anytime I emailed her with questions she always answered in a timely manner and never made me feel like my questions were silly or I was emailing her too much. She genuinely went above and beyond me and my husbands expectations throughout the entire wedding planning experience, but the icing on the cake for us was when she came in on her day off for our wedding which was something she 1000% did not have to do but we were eternally grateful for. I also had two of my bridesmaids contract COVID two days (yeah you read that right) before my wedding so they were unable to attend. While I was relatively calm about the situation, Olivia made me feel so much better. I know it is her "job" but she really just made me and my husband feel so heard, understood, and valued throughout every single step of the wedding planning process. She ensured that our day was perfect and I can honestly say it wouldn't have been the same without her! On to the food! We live pretty close to BVI so we have had the opportunity to come and dine at some of their restaurants before. However, when we had our wedding tasting back in February of 2023 the food blew everything we had ever eaten there out of the water. Everything we tried - from the appetizers to the main meals - were simply outstanding. At the wedding I can't tell you how many people came up to my husband and I raving about how delicious the food was. We additionally had the mini pizzas and cannolis as a late night snack and again, everyone was raving about them. The waitstaff was also so sweet and packaged up some of the pizza and cannolis and took it to me and my husbands suite for us to enjoy after the wedding had finished which I thought was a very kind gesture! I couldn't have asked for anything better! The staff at our wedding was also wonderful. My husband and I had one person in particular, Heather, who was catering to us all night. She was so kind and patient with us and was continuously checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. We did unfortunately have one issue with a member of the waitstaff towards the end of the evening, but the manager that night, Paige, handled everything with grace and professionalism! Overall, if you want an incredible wedding from start to finish, my husband and I HIGHLY recommend Bedford Village Inn.

We had the absolute best time working with Olivia as our wedding planner and Brittany as our coordinator at BVI, and I cannot express enough how incredible they both were. From start to finish, they were attentive to every detail, ensuring our day was nothing short of perfect. They truly made the experience the best that we could have asked for. As a Type A person, it can be hard to let go of control, but Olivia and Brittany made it so easy to trust them completely. They remembered even the smallest details, things I didn’t even realize I had mentioned, and made sure everything was executed flawlessly. One of the biggest challenges we faced was the weather. They allowed us to hold off on the decision to move the ceremony inside due to rain until the last possible moment, which was a huge relief. Their calm and professional demeanor throughout the entire process was exactly what I needed to enjoy my day without a single worry. And the rainy day didn't even matter, it was still the best day. If you want a team that will go above and beyond, keep you at ease, and a beautiful venue rain or shine, go with BVI. I couldn't have asked for anything more, and I’m so grateful to them for making our wedding day truly magical.

I could not recommend the BVI more!!! We met with Olivia in 2022 for our wedding in August 2024 and she was the absolute best from the day we met her through our wedding day. She is so kind, honest, and goes above and beyond to help in any way needed. She helped us create the perfect event for us, in our budget. Even day of the wedding, Olivia came to see me in the morning to help with anything last minute and helped me fix a sign that was broken. She set up all of the decorations in the venue for us, so beautifully, so we didn’t have to do anything day of. She is incredible.

A huge benefit of the BVI is the ability to stay in the 12 inn rooms above the reception hall, and for our family to be able to stay at the Grand Hotel. The accommodations are 10/10 and the customer service was amazing. Allyson was so helpful on coordinating all of the rooms and helping me leave gift bags in our wedding parties rooms.

The food is amazing there. Whether you’re at the tavern, grand, or eating catered food, we were never disappointed. We went there for countless meals leading up to the wedding, had an Italian meal for our rehearsal dinner, and the apps and meal at the wedding have had all of our guests talking about how good it was for the last two weeks! We will think about the apps at our cocktail hour for a long time.

Our day of wedding and rehearsal dinner coordinators were amazing and made sure we stayed fed and helped with anything we needed all day. I want to relive this day over and over again. It was perfect and a huge reason was because of the BVI. Thank you!!!!!

The waiter was excellent but my steak came out way too rare after ordering it medium rare so I sent it back and it still came out way too rare so I took it home to finish cooking it myself. I could not eat it that raw. The salad I ordered for 14.00 had no dressing on it, just a few walnuts and cranberries, i expected more for the price. The shrimp cocktail was good, the oysters too. The portions are very small and the cheesecake was tiny. We were there for a birthday and they had no complimentary cake, not even a slice where other restaurants offer that. The bill came to $402.00 for 3 people with tip yet no alcohol. Felt like we were in a library we had to whisper. We won’t be going back.
