I recently experienced one of the best trips in my entire life thanks to Genuine Morocco. Everything from lodging & local guides to transportation from place to magical place has left an indelible mark within my memory.
As a solo female traveler from America, it meant a lot to have trip details sorted before I arrived, and indeed, that was the case. Upon arrival at the airport, Hicham was right there to meet me and our journey began and lasted for ten incredible days.
I enjoyed sights & experienced the culture in Fes, Marrakech, Essaouria, Chefchahouen & even rode a camel in the Sahara Desert! Truly it was all like something out of a dream for me. I learned so much from Hicham as we worked our way along the enchanted country of Morocco. One of my favorite times was hiking through Berber villages in Imlil, and spending time with a local family. It’s prompted me to want to return and backpack the trail to Toubkal, Morocco’s highest peak. Wherever you choose to go in Morocco, Susan & Hicham will make it happen for you. They make an excellent team, and will assure your trip is tailored just as you would like it. I am already looking forward to my return! By the way, the food is the best I’ve ever had!! Booking with Genuine Morocco was an amazing experience. We only had 7 days in Morocco but we were able to see everything we wanted to in a well planned and thought-out trip. Having Hicham as a guide made the trip extra special because we were always able to get the best recommendations on where to go in every city, whether it was historic sites or a restaurant to eat! A trip to Morocco became a trip of a lifetime. It was amazing. Full of spectacular scenery and vibrant city life. My friend and I had a wonderful time during our two-week vacation to Morocco in November. Hicham took great care of us and the local guides were attentive and informative. Loved exploring the medinas of Rabat, Marrakech and Essaouira where the food was excellant and the arts and crafts plentiful. The day trips to the Berber-Roman ruins in Volubilis and to the High Atlas Mountain were memorable for their history, culture and scenic beauty. A highlight was the colorful Salut Maroc boutique hotel in the seaside city of Essaouira. Would recommended a guided tour for the ease, safety and information that it provides.

I have always dreamt of visiting Morocco and my first visit there could not have been more perfect! Hicham was amazing and he made sure that it would be a memorable vacation for us. He was detail oriented, fun to be with and was able to fulfill all of our wishes. He was passionate about his country and let us experience the beautiful people, culture, food and history of his beautiful Morocco. The Riyad accommodations that he picked for us were spectacular!!! The food was exquisite and the Moroccan people were incredibly hospitable. Morocco is such a beautiful country rich with history and Hicham was the perfect person to experience it with! Genuine Morocco is run by very professional, competent and nice individuals who truly want you to see the wonders and beauty of Morocco. I will definitely be going back to Morocco soon and definitely with Genuine Morocco!

Morocco was truly a trip of a lifetime made that much better by our guide. From Marrakech to the Sahara and back, each stop was meticulously planned and did an excellent job of showcasing the natural beauty and architectural marvels of Morocco and immersing us in its rich culture.
