I took my two boys, aged 12 and 10, for an e-bike adventure. Well, it turned out to be a wonderful 4th July evening. The e-bikes were very well maintained and Kyle was great at explaining how they worked, to both me and my boys.
After the 16 mile, super fun ride around the Norwich Hills, we joined Kyle, Jayne, Eric, Andrea, and MaKensi for a BBQ, camp fire and S'mores.
We hung out later into the evening and had the best time playing corn hole, volleyball, and watching the fireworks while swimming in the river.
What a welcoming and fun team. We felt like part of the crowd and they were wonderful at embracing my kids energy.
I would recommend renting bikes, kayaks and other equipment from these guys. Such a fun time!

I'm from Florida originally, so I was a bit nervous renting a bike to ride trails in the ice and snow, but the staff was super friendly and I had a blast! I highly suggest Hanover Adventure Tours. Prices are very reasonable and the gear is top notch. Make sure you add their gps option, it made it easy to know where to go on the back roads.

HAT is a welcome addition to our local area in my opinion! I heard of them last year but rented 2 bikes from them recently and had a great experience. Kyle, who got us set up with our rental was very pleasant and welcoming, he made sure we were comfortable with everything and answered all our questions.

The bikes are new, high quality, and in great shape. There was a large range of size options to accommodate us.

Prices were better than other locations, and I am happy to give them my business in the future.

We were able to take our bikes to the Rail Trial 20 minutes away, I would highly recommend this route as it goes on forever, and is far more scenic and safe than road routes.

We look forward to working with HAT in the future, and possibly purchasing some bikes as well.

Hanover Adventure Tours is an amazing outfit in so many ways. First, it is female owned and operated, which is a rarity in the outdoors/adventure tourism industry. Second, the staff are skilled, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about what they do, which is to say they do what it takes to provide an extraordinary experience.

In September of 2021, we scheduled a combination 20+ mile farmstead bike tour with a four mile forest hike, and it was our best day in New Hampshire by far. Lest the biking distance seem off-putting, rest easy; HAT has amazing e-bikes that reduce the steepest mountains to molehills!

Planning and logistics were a breeze. In fact, Jayne Trailer our principal Tour Manager kept in touch with us before and during our travels to New Hampshire, to answer questions, offer advice on logistics, and generally to confirm that we had everything we needed for a great outdoor experience.

Of course, an itinerary is nothing without the right guides. Jayne and her colleague MaKensi Kastl were our remarkable team leaders for the day. They shared historical highlights, cultural insights and even provided guidance on local farming techniques -- all to explain the richness of New Hampshire life in Grafton County. We saw and learned so much that we NEVER would have found on our own. Which may explain why the entire day FLEW by!

HAT offers an incomparable experience. Low key, extremely personable and lots of fun. A genuine 5-Star recommendation!

The first thing I noticed was the dirt and grime. The place looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months. Common areas like the kitchen and bathroom were absolutely repulsive. (See photos!) The location is scenic but is quite far out of town. Lastly, I asked Jacob if he had cooking oil or butter. He left one pound of butter, which had expired on January 24, in the fridge. Because I value my health too much I was unable to cook a meal or prepare any food which, for me, is tantamount to disaster. I felt weak the entire next day and was unable to go into Hanover, explore and enjoy. Very disappointing overall.

Great weekend getaway with lots of activities. My friends and I had an amazing time cruising around the countryside on their electric bicycles. The e-bikes definitely made exploring the area a much more enjoyable experience. The guide was very safe and took us to some hidden away spots, the bikes were brand new, the hostel was very clean, and the staff all took proper Covid safety precautions. We’ll definitely be back soon.

The perfect spot for adventure sports and lodging. It was my first time riding a bike in ages and Bill patiently worked with me until I was comfortable enough to go on our e-bike tour. He went above and beyond to ensure my safety. The entire staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The hostel was clean, well maintained and had a variety of tasty breakfast options. My friends and I had a fantastic time and are looking forward to our next visit. Highly recommend!

I stayed at the HAT hostel for a couple of nights while I was taking a class at King Arthur Baking Company. It was a great experience! The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. The full kitchen was a great bonus. I took advantage of the hiking shuttle to do a day hike as well. Wish I would have had time to try out the e-bikes too. Highly recommend for others staying in town!
