Riding by we stopped to see the covered bridge. We drove across the covered bridge and then drove back across once more.
It is a nice covered bridge.

I love covered bridges, but this one is a little underwhelming. There's no place to walk over it, just one lane for traffic so if you're walking you better run.

The area around it is all overgrown.

There's one place to park maybe 3 or 4 cars and that's it. It's just a way to get over the water and nothing more.

Having said that, I still think it's pretty cool.

Beautiful drive along the Connecticut River, then you you come to a beautiful lake and turn the corner to find this gem in the middle of nowhere, I could picture hourse and buggy crossing as it's only big energy for one vehicle.

Nice historical bridge. There is a small pull off on on side enough to fit 3-4 cars. Decent fishing under and around this bridge. Very quiet road. Bridge is one lane at a time. Plenty of wildlife in the vicinity. No picnic area or "beach"front. There is litter around the area, I try to pack out a grocery bag everytime I fish there.

Lovely bridge. Small parking area on one side. Bridge would benefit from a label to let people know it's Edgell Bridge!
