We stayed here in Motel 11 during the Columbus Day weekend. The rate is comparatively cheap. So are some of the services. There was no WIFI signal in the room we stayed in and no phone service either. To top it all, Maureen, in-charge of breakfast service was so rude that she had to remind us about the few extra slices of bread we took. She went on to add that people usually have common sense to take only a few slices of bread. We did not eat breakfast the next day. Of course, I didn't have the common sense to not book this motel. On the contrary, David, the owner of the motel, was very polite. He was way too polite at times that he did not even listen to the incident that happened in the breakfast hall. I will not come back here.

Just got back from a two night stay at Sky Valley with my husband and twin one year olds. So happy with the location, grounds, and accomidations. We were just a few miles away from story Land which was great. We were able to come back for naps and play right out front of our room at the playgrounds and had an adventure at the river. The room itself was perfect for a family of 4. The twins had thier own room and my husband and I could sit out on the porch and have a drink while the boys were sleeping, not having to worry about them waking up when we came in and out. It looked like it was newly painted. The flowers oitside everywhere were beautiful as well. Such a gem in the woods. We will be back for sure!

Although it was a short vacation, it was awesome. Our friends stayed in Cottage 3. It was so cozy and comfy. Felt like home, with all the amenities. We stayed in a separate room across the grass. The room was spacious with a KING sized bed. The pool is amazing. The owners are friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend staying here to anyone. The view of the mountains is beautiful and it's literally 2 minutes away from Attitash Mountain.

We stayed in Cottage #6, and had a great time. We really enjoyed how quiet it was. Dave and Maureen are extremely nice and very accommodating. We would definitely recommend this place for a family who wants to escape the craziness of daily life and be able to unwind and enjoy nature and relax. Really close to stores as well as scenic views and attractions. I'm glad we were able to find this place!

Our family of five stayed in a cottage for four nights at Sky Valley and we are planning to return each summer from now on. Wish we had stayed 7 nights. The cottage was cozy and rustic, all the necessities. Full kitchen with dishes. We had a separate bedroom from the kids which is nice, and two bathrooms. We've stayed plenty of places in northern NH and if u want a camping-style experience without the tent, this place is absolutely the way to go. Helped us save money that we could cook our own meals too. Sat by our personal fire pit at night. Could walk down to the Saco River, and right near Mt. Attitash. Minutes from grocery stores. I literally have nothing negative to report. See you next summer Sky Valley! (If I can wait that long....) 😊❤️

My family and I stayed in Cottage #6 for a long weekend recently. We enjoyed our stay very much. The cabin was very private and quiet. The staff was excellent and attentive. We enjoyed the FREE breakfast. It was a very nice touch. The pool was great with the staff there to ask if we needed anything. I felt comfortable and appreciated. The cabin itself is a cabin and has some older furniture. But I must say that the cabin was clean!

When we checked into Sky Valley, we were pleasantly surprised by the friendliness of the gentleman in the office that day. He was so accommodating and pleasant and nice to our grandchildren. We were enjoying our time there with my sister and niece's family until the owner came by questioning us about how many kids we had staying in our motel room. Not only was she drunk, but she didn't even introduce herself when she came stumbling over to us sitting outside. We had 1 child with us,who we paid extra for,and the other 2 were staying in a cottage with their parents. Up until then, we were able to let the kids ride bikes and scooters from cabin to cabin and our motel room and not have to worry about traffic. But after that incident, we were afraid of the owner driving drunk on the property, because she could've very easily run someone over with her big pickup truck! Then another night we were playing in the field with kiddy copters that light up, when she drove up to make sure we weren't doing any fireworks. I can understand that she doesn't want them on the property, but we also know how to read all their signs and wouldn't be stupid enough to do it right behind the office! Seriously! The place is up for sale, so I hope someone buys it or I won't return there next year. My sister's family had been going there for about 5 years, but I don't know if they'll go again after this year.

We stayed in the "SACO SUITE" in early June for a long weekend with our 2 kids, both under 5. The unit was very cozy and clean, and the grounds were very well cared for. It was still a bit chilly for the pool, but I will say it was extremely clean and looked very inviting. The kids enjoyed the HUGE play area and we loved that we could see them at all times right from the front porch. Perfect location for local attractions and of course Story Land, we will be back!
