AMAZING! Unexpected in every way. It's not a gorge at all. These clay formations are otherworldly. They rise frome the desert in a most unusual way. I was in more than a dozen narrow slot canyons. Many so narrow, i had to take off my daypack. The views straight up were stunning. My explanations are not good enough. I lack words to properly describe this place. I arrived early ( sunrise) and was alone for two hours. It's a smallish park and very accessible for non hikers. Some climbing yields even more amazing views, but even without anyone, including kids and older folks will enjoy it.

We had a wonderful time it's totally worth the drive out there. There's the moon caves and the slot canyons.. Basically we had the place to ourselves.. So many picture opportunities I must have taken 120 and 100 videos.. All My Facebook followers were dying to see it because I've been talking about it. I've gotten at least 10 locals in the St George area to now go see it and then never even heard of it. Its an easy hundred mile drive from St George. It's a small park. You can find the slots really easy and they have to be the easiest slot Canyons to get to and walk right into. Usually You have to drive 10 mi on a horrible dirt high clearance four-wheel drive washboard road then hike in a few miles. You drive right up get out of your car and walk about a hundred feet or so and you can walk right into one of them. The restrooms are down at the end with the picnic tables by the water tower. If possible stay till sunset you can get the most magnificent photos

Great thin canyons to explore and hike through. Most are easy trekking but some can be exceptionally thin or short if you're adventurous enough to squeeze through or crawl on your hands and knees!

This was our first stop when we were visitin the park. The area with its amazing rock formations and winding slot canyons can be self-explored. We parked our car and enjoyed the adventure.

Beautiful campground and hiking trails, a lot of fun history in the areas surrounding the water towers built awhile ago! Very peaceful and quiet!

Though off the beaten path, this marvel of nature is a must-see to be believed. Kids will enjoy running in and out of the high-walled slots in the canyons. However, this is definitely not the place for those who might be claustrophobic. With that said, it's a fun place to visit and a nice place to have a picnic. 🤠
