I was treated with the utmost respect and care at this VA clinic. I realize that, being a retired social worker and veteran who has had contact and interaction with many caregivers at VA Medical centers, there is no perfect. I must say that the care givers, reception staff,and my fellow brothers and sisters in arms helped in providing a pleasant, warm, and welcoming atmosphere, and they've got it almost perfect too!

Went to this location and was very impressed with the hospitality of the lobby host, and overall atmosphere of this location!! Very friendly staff all together and they were very welcoming!! It wasn't everybody but 90+ percent is a good number to use as a Benchmark!! Coffee was terrible, but this was based on the machine not even being in service!! I did drive from the greater Peoria!! Oh well, next time!!

The woman at the check-in desk was very nice, helpful, and friendly. I went in for the first time for my hearing and I couldn't have asked for, nor received better treatment and care than what I got at this VA. Not to mention that my hearing aids were ordered and ready for pickup in a week. This review only allows me to give 5 stars, but they deserve 10.

Went in for a follow up appointment after going to the ER. The doctor that I saw was filling in for my usual doctor on Team 3 because she moved positions.

To say that I feel incredibly blessed for receiving the care at this VA is an understatement. Great communication and always friendly service.

Front staff is very helpful. Dr refused to give an antibiotic because symptoms were not present according to her. My father in law has a low grade fever and lab results with over 100,000 level of 3 bacteria grown out in culture. 2 other doctors prescribed the antibiotic but VA dr refused to recommend it. I had to get the antibiotic at pharmacy for $350. He does not have a drug card because he gets his drugs from the VA. I want to file a grievance but I do not know how to do that. He has been septic two times before and I am trying to avoid sepsis by giving him the antibiotic. The two cheaper ones he is allergic to and this is the only option. I said if we do not treat him it will go into sepsis as it has done in the past and she said well then you just take him to the emergency room. I said so I should let him get septic and then take him to the emergency room and they will admit him. She said yes, that is why we have hospitals. I said my goal is to keep him out of the hospital. There was no in between for her. So I am supposed to just watch him get sicker and sicker until the point that I have to take him to the emergency room. This makes no sense to me and it certainly is not the way that I feel an 88-year-old veteran should be treated.

Please don’t call their phone number because no one will answer it. I tried calling for two days. It rang for almost 10 minutes without anyone picking up the phone.
