Dr. Kilby is the best veterinarian in town, hands down. Don’t believe me, go and check her out. She is knowledgeable like most, but she is also thorough, kind, caring. Not only is she all that towards your pet, she also treats dog parents with grace, understanding and so much love. This office has also some of the most efficient while at the same time caring people. It is an absolute pleasure to go there and know that your pet is in good hands. Here is my lovely lady Abby. Have been going through a rough patch, but she is in the best hands!

The office staff and techs at Hawthorne were very friendly and accommodating. Of course Dr. Kilby is a wonderful person whose love of animals is always apparent, and reputation for being a fine veterinarian has followed her throughout her career. I first fell under her spell in St. Louis where she was a member of the Kirkwood Animal Hospital practice where she was highly regarded by hundreds of clients and their fur babies. I am very happy to have reconnected with her in Bloomington once again and Hawthorne Park where once again my newest cat, Keepher, received personal and top notch medical care. I give the Hawthorne Park practice 10 MEOWS!

Every veterinarian here, tech and front desk workers have always been so kind. I’ve been taking my lab here since he was 6 weeks old and everyone has truly been so caring, understanding and patient with my questions. My dog loves coming to the vet, even when he’s sick! I used to be so anxious bringing him in because of how excited and jumpy he gets, but they make him feel so comfortable and give him lots of love! Highly recommend.

Frankie loved his first visit everyone treated us so well. He had a reaction to his puppy vaccines and they took him right back in a reacted quickly to reverse allergic reaction. When he hears the sound of my keys he now wants to go with me to go back to the vet.

Very knowledgeable staff, very kind, caring and helpful. We switched to this vet from another vet because we weren’t getting answers for our fur baby. He’s been suffering for months and we finally made the switch, on our first visit I was mind blown at how much I have learned it was very educational, informational and made me feel at ease.
