We will be back to the I Hotel anytime we travel to the U of I campus. The customer service is impeccable from the second you check in at the registration desk. Every aspect of the service provided by this property's staff is how customer service should be. The rooms are tastefully done & extremely comfortable. Our stay is always memorable.

Great location. Able to walk to State Farm Arena. Easy check in. Helpful staff. Nice lobby. Good elevator - never thought id include this in a review but the next night at another hotel we were concerned making it to the 3rd floor. Most important - modern CLEAN room. Great shower. Great breakfast. Definitely will stay there again

It was our first time here. The hotel was nice & clean. It looks like a newer or updated hotel. It was a convenient location, considering we were going to a show at the State Farm Center (right around the corner from the hotel). Usual amenities for a hotel.

PROS
-The room was very clean.

CONS
-The shower does not have a door, so water gets everywhere. There is nowhere to put your soap and shampoo except on the floor, which is weird.
-The restaurant closes at 9pm on Saturday, which is weird for having a bar in it.
-The Continental breakfast is rubbish. It's just some bagels, fruit, and a mushy vegan half burritos that have a bunch of mushrooms, seaweed, and eggs. The coffee was pretty okay, though!

For $200, i expect a decent breakfast.

First time staying in this hotel and love this place!! This hotel was even better than other hotels that I’ve stayed in around the Chicago loop. The free shuttle service of iHotel was more than enough to compensate the remote location of hotel. Managers and workers are all kind and amicable making up the comfortable vibe. Room was clean and tidy, and the amenities including starbucks coffee capsules were also flawless. I’m glad that I chose the right hotel for making a good first impression to my partner of the town and our school. Definitely planning to stay in again if needed.

Stayed here while I visited UIUC to potentially start there in the fall. The hotel has an exceptional staff and additional facilities. The hotel rooms are pretty standard and the bed was a little too soft for my liking but overall it was a great experience.

4 stars for the location because most places are far enough away that you’ll need to drive or take a shared ride service. While the hotel is technically on campus, it’s at a far end, away from the main part of campus. If you’re used to smaller campuses, UIUC is not that.

I hesitate to write this, but I am also not a gatekeeper. The IHotel has started a spa service and I encourage everyone to try it. I treated myself to a service for my birthday and I was not disappointed. Carrie was incredibly kind and offered a calming environment from the first encounter. I have sensitive skin and Carrie spent time going through products and allowing me to decide which ones I thought were best. I am a graduate student who struggles with back issues due to sitting at a computer. I left with less tension on my back and feeling rejuvenated enough.....to go sit back at the computer lol. I encourage everyone to steal away from University life and visit them.

Great place to stay when visiting the University of Illinois. Polite, professional and friendly service upon arrival. Next to old Assembly Hall and near stadium, it is convenient to most everything else on campus, but not in the middle of students. Rooms were very dated, but still clean and comfortable.
