We had a blast trying our luck with the "family curse" room. Grayson was very through with his explanation and did his best to set us up for success, though we did not escape. This room was challenging but very fun, the time just flew by haha. We would recommend Brainstorm Escapes to anyone who enjoys escape rooms, we will surely be returning to try our luck with another soon!

We have been there twice and both times we had such a fun time. We didn't win, but it was a blast. Definitely going back to try the other rooms and possibly to redo the ones we did. Love the puzzles, they are pretty intense. Getting those hints are a must. Xavier is great, he really wants you to win lol. I definitely recommend to beginners or expert escapee's.

Not impressed by this place. We did family curse and like many others in the reviews, didn't finish. For $75+/hr room rental, why do you care how many hints people want? The few hints we were given were not very helpful. It made it frustrating to bring a kid who really wanted to beat it because we were all just roaming around stumped for 20 mins. At the end a worker just walks you through the rest of what you didn't get anyways, so really what is the point of limiting clues while people are playing?
We've been to dozens of escape rooms all over the country, and this one was by far our least favorite. Which is sad because we are C-U locals and would consider paying for all of your rooms if we knew you cared about customer experience and realized limiting hints doesn't make it more fun for everyone. We've already done every single room at CU Adventures, some more than once, because of how welcoming, kid-friendly, and not stingy with the clues they are.

Just my son and I did the hardest one and although we didn’t finish in the allotted time, Xavier was super surprised we were 70% done as first time players. This was amazingly fun and Xavier was great!!

We did the Circus room for a date and it was a great time! As they say on the website, it was a small room, which I actually really liked because it was easy to communicate. Although it seemed like a lower-budget affair than some other escape rooms I have seen, it was fantastic value and really well-designed for two people to be able to do it and we escaped with around 15 minutes left. It was easy to book online and the staff was very pleasant. I wish they had more two-person rooms, as it was a lovely date! Will definitely try to get a group together to go back in the future.

Affordable and fantastically fun. Took the whole family, all adults, there for a birthday celebration. We had a great time and will definitely be going back! Friendly staff, puzzles ranged in difficulty so everyone was able to participate.

It was a blast. I'm not good at puzzles but it didn't matter because it was fun regardless. Our host was the best! If I had a son, I would want him to be just like today's host. He really enhanced the experience. A great escape!
