An absolutely wonderful way to spend the Canada Day long weekend! I was so fortunate to be part of the women only 3 day hike to Trophy Mountain, and I found everything I was looking for and more in this trip through Wells Gray Adventures.
I was not expecting so much snow but it ended up becoming such a great part of the trip thanks to the beyond expert guidance from Tay and Laurie. I felt supported and so welcomed throughout the entire trip. I also felt safe walking in the snow thanks to their coaching and direction. It has given me confidence for future hikes.
Tay's knowledge and expertise is beyond what you could ever ask for from a guide given her life experience and her devotion to everything about Wells Gray. Her stewardship to the environment is awe inspiring.
This trip was 110% in terms of value for money. I do not know of anywhere else you could get such excellent service from people that truly love what they do for the same pricing. I hope to be back for more adventures in the future!

My partner & i did 5-day hut-to-hut hike with guide Chris_MS.. it was an excellent experience! We had a fun group and we enjoyed Chris_MS' gentle guidance, his funny yarns, and his deep mountain biology knowledge!

We had Chris as our canoe guide on our overnight Clearwater Lake camping trip and he was fantastic and has a special talent for storytelling by the campfire! Chris is such a kind and knowledgeable guy who clearly loved sharing this beautiful part of the world. It was fascinating to learn about the local plant & animal life and see so much beauty. 100% recommend. It was a highlight of my Canadian Rockies holiday.

We did the 5 day hike and it surpassed our expectations. The guides were excellent, the other participants were heaps of fun, the cabins better than expected, the views from the peaks were as good as any I have seen in the Rockies and the food was excellent. Their website doesn’t mention gluten-free so I brought extra, but I didn’t need it as they went out of their way to make sure the 2 gluten-free participants were well fed. The hiking itself was harder than expected - make sure you have actually practiced doing a 10km+ hike, with 400+ metres of elevation gain and a full 60 litre pack before you go! I hadn’t really trained for this hike and I regretted it. Overall the experience was fantastic and highly recommended. Definitely worth every penny!

I had the chance to do a 8 day hiking trip organized by Wells Gray Adventures. It was one of the most memorable trip I did so far. The sceneries were absolutly breathtaking. The 3 cabins were cosy and super clean. The accommodations were great, and we ate like kings and queens! Our guide JF was very knowledgeable and competent. I would recommend without any doubt this organization! Thanks again for everything!

We have completed a number of winter ski trips at trophy and discovery huts operated by wells gray adventures. Fantastic country for summer hiking with glorious alpine meadows, and comfortable hut accommodation. The Discovery hut has individual sleeping rooms and a comfortable common area and water from a sparkling creek out front, how can it get better than that. You need to visit the trophy mountains as soon as you can and Tay, Arel and Ian from Wells Gray Adventures will take care of you.

Had a good half day hike on 17 July 2023 with Chris. Chris was a good guide and we were satisfied with the hike, hence the 3 stars.

After being accused by owner of being a fake reviewer tempted to bring down my rating, but assuming this is a misunderstanding I'll leave it at 3 stars...
