Just returned from the 11 day Paris to Normandy Cruise. This was our second cruise with Scenic and it was excellent just as we expected based on our first cruise with them 9yrs ago. We were unable to return to Paris as scheduled because of high water levels, we had rain off and on the last few days; we remained in Conflan and took a taxi into Paris. We had made our own arrangements to remain in Paris after the cruise therefore our transport was not covered by Scenic. We were fully aware we would be our responsibility to cover transport from the ship to our hotel however, the taxi was €92 for the 25mile trip. In my opinion since we were unable to sail into Paris as scheduled, it would have been appreciated if Scenic had arranged a flat rate for cabs from Conflan to Paris. We will still travel with Scenic again.

Highly, highly recommend Scenic and Emerald Waterways. Great time onboard for the 2022 Christmas Markets RiverCruise on the Danube, sailing from Budapest to Vienna, with 32 friends & family! The staff was great, the meals were delectable and the entertainment was unbeatable.

Scenic cruising is so well thought out, such attention to detail that it is certainly one of the best in the river cruising business. We travel frequently and do all kinds of different touring types of adventures. Scenic adventures are wonderful because everything runs perfectly. This was our first river cruise with Scenic. We took the Gems of the Danube with Prague cruise. The ship was beautiful, staff was amazing, and food was exceptional. Especially loved the wine pairings at dinner.
Whether we spent the day on board taking in the beautiful scenery, or took one of the many tour options, everyday was a memorable experience. Our Scenic cruise was top notch every step of the way! Already planning our next one!

AT the presentation they lied about what we would get; we ended up being bused, spent more time on buses than on the actual rivers cruising; food on the second boat was horrible, service staff were rude and angry, the cruise director was rude, never told people the truths about tours, buses, cruising, she was not helpful and most tours were poor and rushed. We do not recommend a river cruise especially with this company...

I can't rave enough about our river cruise with Scenic. We were on the Scenic Amber for the Danube plus Prague tour. It was first class all the way! The Grandium Hotel in Prague, where our tour started, was lovely and the buffet breakfast was exceptional.

The bus that took us to Nuremberg to board the ship was clean and very comfortable. As soon as we stepped on the Amber we were spoiled. From beginning to the end of our trip. Our Sapphire suite was perfect. The beds were a dream and having a Pillow Menu was the cherry on top! Loved the balcony with the window and bug screen we could lower.

The meals and wine pairings are second to none. All the staff were amazing! Special kudos to Lukasz our Cruise Director and his sidekick Christina for looking out for us each step of the way. Also to our favourite waiters Branko and Lazar who always made sure we were well taken care of. Vlasko our butler and Barry our housekeeper ensured we were always comfortable and had everything we needed.

This was truly a trip of a lifetime and being treated like royalty was something we had never experienced before. We highly recommend Scenic cruises and can't wait to cruise with them again.

My wife and I have completed two extended tours with Scenic. Our first tour was in 2018, spanning 35 days starting in Cape Town, South Africa, and ending in Cairo, Egypt. It included seven Safaris, each in different parks and five different countries (South Africa, Botswana, Tanzania, Zimbabwe, and Kenya). The accommodation and transportation were outstanding, as was the food and guides. It was a magical experience that we'll never forget and will possibly return to visit some other parks one day. The last 10 days were spent touring the ancient archeological sights in Egypt, which included four days on a Nile cruise and a spectacular flight to visit Abu Simbel. The quality of the accommodations, guides, food, and transportation greatly exceeded our expectations throughout the entire tour, which prompted us to embark on a second extended tour hosted by Scenic in SE Asia in early 2020. This tour spanned 30 days, which included three magical days cruising Halong Bay and seven wonderful days cruising the mighty Mekong river. The remaining 20 days involved land travel throughout Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, with a final stop in Bangkok. Once again, the accommodations, transportation, food, and service greatly exceeded our expectations, and we are now considering options for our next Scenic adventure.
