My flight was cancelled so I needed a quick and convenient hotel. This Quality Inn was very easy to get to from the airport. It’s definitely an older hotel but the lobby was clean and welcoming, and the staff was very friendly. The location is right off a busy road and the room doors are located on the outside of the hotel so I was a little nervous at first. You can definitely hear the road noise in your room. But the room was very clean and I slept like a baby- comfy beds! The free breakfast was delicious and they had a variety of fresh foods to choose from. I also read a book by the pool and although the outdoor space is small, it was very nice. I would stay here again if I was flying out of Sarasota, but I would not choose this hotel if I was traveling with my family.

BEST HOTEL IN THE AREA!! I travel for work so I live out of hotels. This particular hotel is by far one of the best stays I’ve had. First of all I need to recognize the manager Nikki, she went above and beyond to accommodate my needs during my stay. She is an amazing employee and deserves a promotion and raise! After checking in we entered our room. It wasn’t just clean, it was spotless. Smells fresh and clean. No stale smoke smell. I travel through this area often and this is the hotel I will be staying at every single time I’m in the area!

You get what you pay for. Pictures are beautiful but the hotel is very dated. The beds were clean. Shower head was so dirty we did not use the shower. Room smelled a bit musty as well. Only stayed one night. If it were longer probably would have left. BREAKFAST was good. Typical cereal, waffles and juice. Nothing fancy.

Picked this hotel because it was close to the airport for an early flight home. Breakfast was good but not a great selection of fruit. Orange juice was watery, apple juice was good. Hotel is rather old and dated. Room was clean but again pretty dated. Shower caulk job was awful and was growing mold. Desk in main room was very wobbly. Light fixtures were old and rusted/stained. No lounge chair in room, just a desk chair. Bed was pretty comfy but very thin sheets. Pool area was nice, but pool was loaded with leaves and needed skimming badly. I wasn't expecting a 4 star hotel, but I think it was a bit pricey for what we got.

I had an extended stay at this hotel and was very pleased. It's in a great location and approx. 2 miles from the Sarasota Airport. The staff is extremely accommodating and friendly. The breakfasts were excellent with a variety of choices. The manager was Nikki and she was very pleasant and helpful. Theresa was the other person who was often at the front desk and was also friendly and professional. This hotel is managed perfectly. There is a pool and it was very clean and guests enjoyed it every day.
I would definitely return to this hotel.

We arrived late at night and were only there for one night thank goodness. The bathtub had hair in it, which wasn’t the worst part. Starting early in the morning, before 7am, the housekeeping staff started moving their supplies by wheeled trash cans. The walls are paper thin so every time one of these trash cans were moved, it was loud! The people in the room beside us actually went outside and yelled at the worker. Although the location was okay, I wouldn’t stay here again and if I had to I would need noise cancelling headphones

The hotel is old but satisfactory. The bathroom was clean with no sign of bugs. The laminate floor was very dirty. Breakfast was fair with the fake eggs and sausage. They had bagels, english muffins and waffle makers. The price was way too high for this hotel.

The staff was wonderful.
Our room, unfortunately, wasn’t the greatest. Put it this way: I had to buy roach Foggers within a day of our stay. It wasn’t just one or two bugs. There were a lot, and once we fogged the room and came back a few hours later, the floor was littered with dead roaches.
We were in town for 4 days for a soccer event and most places were sold out, so we paid ~$250/night to stay here.

Treat the buildings for bugs. What could have been a decent stay turned out to be a bit miserable due to having to share our space with little critters.
